I've been following the Senior Bowl practices in Mobile, Ala this week and once again I feel the wrong team is favored.

The linemakers have struggled with this game in the past, and I have taken advantage of it twice within the last four years...the other two years I felt the line was where it should have been.

2-0 Lifetime wagering on this game:

A Very, Very, very small 1/8 Unit play on:

The North +4
over the South

It's a very, very, very small 1/8 Unit play for me because my units have numerous Benjamins on the line during the NFL season, but keep in mind this is only an All Star game.

I'm not sure why the South is favored this year, but it could be because of the Tim Tebow hype and Tebow is on the South team...The North squad will win the battle at the line of scrimmage since they have a much better offensive line and a better defensive line...I also like the North's secondary better...and I feel their QB's (Pike LeFevour and Canfield) will be more productive than the South teams QB's (Tebow, Brown and Robinson)...the only negative is the North team is coached by the Lions coaching staff while the Dolphins are coaching the South team...I'll take my chances on a better team in my opinion getting more than a FG in an All Star game.
North Team +4

So Cal
Great call....The North team has dominated..

:mj06:

Looks to me Gilyard will be a solid WR...
I really like his effort today...His stock has got to go higher after this game..

B.Graham has been sweet too...He has put himself in a great position to make some big $$$ today...

Tebow will be lucky to sniff the 3rd round in the NFL Draft....

Gilyard is lean at 5-11.5 179, but has the ability to double as a return man.

Graham can fly off the edge to rush the passer, and is stout enough to stop the run. He's shorter than what NFL scouts like a DE to be in a 4-3, but the same was said about a short defensive end from Syracuse that came out in the draft years back by the name of Dwight Freeney. Last I checked, he's still playing in the league! I also think Graham has the athleticism to play as a rush end in a 3-4 scheme, although I wouldn't be crazy about him playing in space (dropping into coverage).

Tebow is a work in progress. His bad mechanical habits that he developed at Florida need to be corrected. In my opinion, some team will take a chance on him somewhere in the second round of the draft because at worst, he's a great short-yardage/goal-line runner that can run a team's wildcat. I've been hearing that the Jaguars have him targeted with their second round pick, because he's from Jacksonville, and he would sell tickets for a franchise that is desperate to fill their empty seats.
