The actress Natasha Richardson died after falling skiing in Canada .
It took eight hours to drive her to a hospital. If Canada had our healthcare
she might be alive today. We now have helicopters that would have gotten
her to the hospital in 30 minutes. Obama wants to have our healthcare like
Canada's and England's.

In England anyone over 59 cannot receive heart repairs or stents or bypass
because it is not covered as being too expensive and not needed.

I got this today and am sending it on. If Obama's plans in other areas don't
scare you, this should.

Please do not let Obama sign senior death warrants

Most of you know by now that the Senate version (at least) of the "stimulus"
bill includes provisions for extensive rationing of health care for senior citizens..
The author of this part of the bill, former senator and tax evader, Tom Daschle
was credited today by Bloomberg with the following statement...

Bloomberg: Daschle says "health-care reform will not be pain free. Seniors
should be more accepting of the conditions that come with age instead of treating them."

If this does not sufficiently raise your ire, just remember that Senators and
Congressmen have their own healthcare plan that is first dollar or very low co-pay
which they are guaranteed the remainder of their lives and are not subject to this new law
if it passes.

Please use the power of the internet to get this message out. Talk it up at the grassroots level....
We have an election coming up in one year and nine months. We have the ability to
address and reverse the dangerous direction the Obama administration and it allies have begun and in the
interim, we can make their lives miserable.

Richardson fell Monday at the Mont Tremblant ski resort in Quebec. She initially appeared fine and joked about the fall, but the ski patrol insisted she see a doctor. Richardson declined, the resort said in a statement Tuesday.

Thursday, ABC News learned more details about what happened between when Richardson fell and when she sought medical attention. At 12:43 p.m. Monday, the first call to the paramedics was made. An ambulance arrived at 1 p.m. and transported Richardson from the foot of the mountain to the infirmary by sleigh.

Richardson thought she was fine and didn't want to stay at the infirmary. At 1:10 p.m., Richardson signed hospital waiver paperwork and walked 300 yards to hotel along with her ski instructor. She was back in her room by 1:30 p.m.

At 2:59 p.m., paramedics received a second call for help. An ambulance showed up at the hotel exactly ten minutes later. Richardson was conscious but showing signs that made paramedics call the hematology department at the Centre Hospitalier Laurentien in Ste-Agathe, where the ambulance took her.

On Wednesday, a Canadian newspaper confirmed that an ambulance was dispatched to the resort right after the accident, but the paramedics were told they were not needed and left.

"They never saw the patient," Yves Coderre, the operations manager for the ambulance service, told the Globe and Mail. "So they turned around."

So the ski patrol called for an ambulance at 1243 it arrived at 1pm. By 110 pm she signed paperwork and walked back to her room and was there at 3pm.

So hedge please explain to me how the usa emts would have handled it any different?


First call 1243 signing out of hospital 110. So the total trip was 27 minutes. Thats less than the 30 you claimed the us would have gotten her there by.
