Senor Capper, fletcher...anyone else........little help re: Vegas?

I've got a couple of friends headed out to vegas in November (around the 14th).... It's 2 couples and they're on their respective anniversaries...not particularly big gamblers...mostly just going to see the sights.... They're asking me where to stay. I figured that they'd like somewhere on the strip, but it's been a few years since I've been out there.

I want to suggest somewhere nice (since it's their anniversaries) but not too pricey. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Caesars, Venetian, and Bellagio are the nicest on the strip. Caesars being my all time favorite!

but they are however the most expensive.

If your looking for nice but more average priced check out...

Treasure Island, Mirage, Aladdin, MGM, New York New York

Mirage being my favorite of the group.. If im not at Caesars thats where i stay.

any of those are good but if not big gamblers and it is a special day i would pick Ceasars lot of things to do with the mall there, also aladin has the mall and 3 shows and a few night clubs, price is better and it will be planet hollywood by then but it will still be the same inside for awhile but lot of upcoming changes to it. I like nyny myself just fun place to be.

My choice would be the Mirage. Always loved that place.
But if they plan to use the new tram system (don't rent a car) and cab lines suck, Ballys or Paris would work on the east side of the Strip.

Been to Vegas a number of times; stayed at Bellagio, Paris, Bally's, Mirage, Hard Rock & Boardwalk.

IMO, for an anniversary Bellagio is your best bet (fountain view is great); also Paris is a nice choice and not as pricey.
