I'm not close with the Eagles coaches, but I like the Eagles in this spot too. I am also leaning towards Detroit, Washington and Buffalo.

hey senor nice day in the college last week.

i thought the chefs dominated diego last week and i had em on the money line only to wallow in my adult beverage at the end.

as far as the chefs this week i think with denver both teams keep things real simple..no gimmicks; just run it down the other teams throat like always.even if green doesnt go its a basic attack and collins should be able to hand off and look for gonzalez.these denver/kc games at arrowhead are always the same.7-6 at half and 20-17 final. or somewhere thereaboauts.as far as i think k.c. should be -3 and the total like 43.

i think denver loses another one this week 23-20 chefs.what REALLY suprises me is the total is 50...thats way high in my opinion.

good luck and throw out a little postal this week.i got postal at 4-0 before last week..:D

i really appreciate your insight senior.i also side with detroit,sd,cleve and wash.....but also feel the unders in mia and philly are strong. and small faves such as balt, denver (sorry) and miami (defense at home is unreal) could bring home the robert dinero..just my thoughts

I personally am not a "totals player".
I do however play them on occasion on MNF or if it feels right.

Good luck on your plays & nice to see your on 4 of my leans, though my final selections have not been made yet.

i find it very difficult to trust pitt to cover any spread, but my failing memory tells me, they are good at home as faves on mondays. but that grimmace cower always seems to make when things are going badly never leaves my memory bank for some unknown, ungodly reason...

Green misses practice, listed as doubtful

NFL.com wire reports

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Oct. 16, 2002) -- Quarterback Trent Green missed practice with a sore ankle and Kansas City Chiefs coach Dick Vermeil said it was only "60-40" that he would play against Denver.

The 32-year-old Green hurt his left ankle just before halftime of Week 6's 35-34 loss at San Diego. The ankle was taped and Green managed to play the second half.

Vermeil said if Green does not start, he would be replaced by backup Todd Collins, who has not played all season.

"I don't know if he will practice," Vermeil said. "(The ankle) is responding. But it's pretty darn sore.

"And what you have to be careful with on these kind of things is making it chronic. Then he goes through the rest of the season with a bad ankle, and we can't afford to do that. So we'll play it by ear."

Green has been on a hot streak the past three games for the Chiefs (3-3). For the season, he's completed 116 of 181 passes for 1,484 yards with 15 touchdowns and eight interceptions, good for a rating of 98.9 - fifth-best in the NFL.

His five touchdown passes against Miami is the best in the league this season.

Collins, an eight-year veteran, is in his fifth year with the Chiefs. He has seen action in only one regular season game in the past two seasons, but played well in several preseason appearances this year.

Vermeil said Green hurt his ankle when he stumbled near the end of the first half at San Diego.

"He kicked his own ankle when he stumbled," Vermeil said. "Then he took off and ran. He injured his ankle in the stumble with one ankle hitting the other ankle."

Vermeil also said it was doubtful that free safety Greg Wesley would play against Denevr. Wesley missed Week 6's game with a deep bruise in the shoulder and chest. His backup, Shaunard Harts, played well.

"That keeps Shaunard Harts playing," Vermeil said. "If he plays like he did against the Chargers, he'll probably never sit on the bench again."

Eagles are 10-1 following a loss under Reid. Also coming off the bye week following a disheartening loss to Jax. Should be focused.

Brad Johnson is the ideal QB for Jim Johnson's D. Corey Simon has been practicing this week and should make his return from the ankle injury. Welbourn returns to his guard position on the line and has done well vs. Sapp in the past.

The cover machine should return to form this week....

Chiefs news

The word from practice this afternoon is that Green practiced, but did not look good, still a 60/40 chance to play this Sunday. Vermeil is pissed at the team for not being sharp in preparation for such a big game. Vermeil must be getting worried about injuries because the team has not practiced in pads yet this week. However, after a lackluster week of practice, he may do it tomorrow. Vermeil is also pissed at Wesley for going to get another opinion for his shoulder ailment.

The Chefs let a big one get away last week, especially with the Raiders and broncos losing. If Green does not play, I will not touch this game either.

KC is now a play for me regardless who starts.
This has to be the worse card yet this year & combine that with me working 6 days this week and I'm having a terrible time with my plays. Guess it's going to be Saturday evening before I make my money plays then I will post 'em for my record.

Best to all of you
