NFL YTD 10-2-0 ATS
Week 1 was very very good to me. Alot of small dogs came a barking. This week I turn more towards the favorites.
Now comes the hard part "trying to at least turn a profit in week 2".
Small & "for action" selections are not counted in my record.
My money/record plays are ranked strongest to weakest
(from top to bottom)
Buffalo Bills + 5 @ Minnesota Vikings
Bills dominated the NYJ with Bledsoe (26 of 39) &
Henry (149yds) only to fall victim to the BIG play,
including 2 KO returns.
Buffalo is an unbelieveable 11-0 ATS in its 2nd GOY & 17-8 ATS vs the NFC.
Vikings also saw a confortable lead evaporate in the final 5 1/2 minutes.
Minnys 5-12 as HFs since '99 & 7-16 as chalks vs the AFC.
Bills pay our bills..... Buffalo + 5 & moneyline
Buffalo/Minnesota OVER 47
Bills will at least score 27 points.
So if Vikings keep pace with Buffalo it should easily go OVER the posted total.
Cincinnati Bengals @ Cleveland Browns
Bengals , well some things just never change. And when they take to the division road, they have been a study in futility, scoring 0,7,0,0,12,3,7,13 & 0 pts, before taking on a demoralized Tennessee squad in LYs final week.
The Brownies must snap back after setback to KC.
(I'm in heaven)
SU series winner is a perfect 5-0 ATS & Brownies are 7-1 ATS at home off line loss.
Cincy checks in with its 2-10 spread log in division openers.
I smell Brownies!!! Cleveland - 4.5
Jacksonville Jaguars @ Kansas City Chiefs
Just when the Brownies thought they were done, shazaam they end up on the gooey side.
KC is a splendid 18-2-1 ATS in HOs & 15-2 ATS as HFs in its 1st 3 GOY.
J'ville is 1-5 ATS in ROs & on a0-6 spread slide vs non-division AFC opponents.
My hat is off to the Chefs...........
Kansas City - 4
New York Giants @ St. Louis Rams
Okay so the Rams had NO TD passes last week and Faulk was held to 19 RYS. (still Warner was 32 of 41 for 315 yds) but that was then & on the road.
This week the Rams return home. They are 24-6 ATS in domes under Warner & 25-10 ATS on rug since '99.
Giants are 3-11 ATS vs a foe off a SU loss as a chalk
(ya get that?)
Rams come out to play.........
St. Louis - 12.5
Chicago Bears @ Atlanta Falcons
Not taking away anything from Vick & his Falcons but I see the wrong team favored here.
Bears are 12-24 ATS off Minny BUT 9-3 ATS on the carpet & also 3-0-1 ATS vs Falcons.
In a close game decided by a FG....
Chicago + 3
Gut Plays Not money plays.
New England over the NY J E T S
Starting to lean towards 49ers
'Zona + 3.5 @ Seattle
Detriot + 3 @ Carolina
Green Bay - 2 @ New Orleans ???
Insane "Play of the Week"
(just for BeerTime)
Houston + 13 @ San Diego
Speaking of which, if I didn't edit out the Chargers, Panthers and my "Insane play of the week" Texans last week before gametime I would have stood pretty at
13-2-0 ATS.
Best to all
