Damn Ducks last night ruined my perfect night. How do you lose to a completely undermaned Oilers team.

Sens are in a tough stretch of games right now whereas the Flames are playing their best hockey of the season. Coach Martin will not allow another 14 penalties by his squad tonight which hurt them rolling 4 lines last night. He is a big believer in rolling 4 lines especially when they are on a long road trip. After yanking Lalime with a little over 10 minutes to go last night one has to wonder if he goes back to Lalime tonight. He played 20 year old rookie Ray Emery since Prusek is hurt. Now he might give Lalime some rest tonight or he yanked him last night to get him ready for tonight. Still no word on who is starting. Regardless, the Sens have a bad habit of playing down to teams levels which I see happening tonight and add in the fact the Flames are 4-0-1 under Suter as coach. Sens are healthy other than back-up Prusek hurt. Can't get a handle on the total but I will take the Flames.

Playing;

Cal. +.5(+110)

I like this play as well.
As I posted in another thread, I checked out the refs and found that one of them has had the dog win 17 of his last 18 games.

 YIKES  Just logged on, and had to rub my eyes to get a double look :D

HORNS is on Calgary. Didn't think I'd see it. Gonna have to reconsider my Sens play. Here's my take. I actually had this game circled as a game the Sens would win easily. Ott owns the best record in NHL in 3/4 spots at 5-2, and every single game went Over (8, 8, 6, 7, 12:eek:, 8, 9). Calgary has been hot, but their opponents are really nothing special, beat a Ducks team who hasn't been able to score since Kariya's dad passed away (2-7-1 L10), beat a TB team who had to travel on New Year's day, is below .500 on the road AND vs West, and is 3-5-2 L10, beat a struggling Minny team who's 3-6-1 L10, beat the Avs with Roy less than 100%, and a team who's 7-7-6 at home. This is just like Det/Fla last nite, only with a much shittier line for the dog, IMHO. Sens own a 11-6-4 record on the road, 3rd best in the league, vs Calg who's 5-9-5. Calg is gonna seem like cupcakes after the battle they had with the Nucks last nite. If Lalime is in, I'm hammering this one.

GOOD LUCK, HORNS.

ddubs,

You make some great points. The one things that does scare me with the Sens is they have not lost 2 in a row in over 2 months and respond well after a loss. The over is tempting. Their road record is solid as well. Sens have generally played the Flames okay. They are .500 lifetime against each other.

GL with your plays!

Horns, do you think an under play would be advisable on the TB -Atl game. If TB is going through a scoring drought and Atl just isn't that good. Thanks in advance.

Horns- the only thing that concerns me about the Flames tonight is that ottawa has played well 2nd night of back to back and 3rd game in 4 nights this year-

But I do think the Flames are clicking right now....

I like the Kings A LOT tonight if I was betting I would probably have at least a nickle on them..............

Good luck buddy:D

Your analysis was correct

Your analysis was correct

The Flames just didn't show up. If you hold a team to 1 goal you will probably win 95% of your games. Last night that 5% bit you!
That's gambling.

Take Care,

Uhh, the Flames hit four posts in the first peroid alone! Calgary got frustrated and gave up. Ottawa was lucky not to lose or at least tie, and they know it
