And so it begins... Nice to see some very good cappers back to the forums. It has been too quiet. Hope you all have a great year!

One play :

1. Appy St. TT over 19 (4 units).....I see a lot of people going with the Mountaineers in this evenings game. I tend to agree, as this looks like too many points. However, I will rest better putting my hopes on Appy to score at least 3 Tds. Been awhile since the Vols have punctured the top 10,and I know there are some very high expectations. Have much respect for Butch Jones and I believe he will have Vols playing for conference championship. However, this Appy team us no slouch. They are again favored to win the Sun Belt and return 17 starters from a squad that went 11-2 ly. They have won 17 of last 19 games and return a mobile dual threat Qb that will give Vols fits. Vols have too many question marks for me on Defense and they are young on the Dline although I conceed very athletic. They better strap it on because Mountaineers will throw pre-season player of the year, RB Cox. This kid could start for most programs in the Power 5 Conferences.
Will most definitely be playing in NFL.

You know your getting old when you can remember vividly the upset Mountaineers pulled in the big house in 2007. I was sucking down brews in John Ascuagas Nugget in Reno and had taken a flyer and played the ml that had been recommended to me from a Capper we called Coach. He's deceased now, but what a great day that was. I'm not sure Appy will pull the upset at Rocky Top, but I'm not sure Vols haven't started looking ahead to VTech next week.
LOSER

BOL on whatever you do!

Great story Riff I knew coach and I will date this even farther. I was sitting in reno with him during the Bills and Cowboys Superbowl if you recall it was close at the half, Coach says parlay Dallas and the over in 2nd half. I withdrew 3k off a credit card and took home a nice bundle. I had bet the game already and this was the kicker, took home 10k that day. I used to sit and watch him do dogs back in the day....he could sit and never play a race it was amazing how disciplined this man was. I wish I had half that discipline

That's great! The guy could come up with winners. He used to wear that blue windbreaker all over Reno. We used to hang at Cal Neva. Everybody around Coach would be betting dimes, and Coach would bet $25 on a side he liked. He sure made the rounds all over town. Gave me a lot of winners. Good luck tonight!

Disappointed with last nights results. Thought we would get the over in OT. But it wasn't to be.

Today : 9-2

Cal Poly +20' (3 units)... I'm heading to the game here shortly at the newly renovated Clarence Mackey Stadium. Nevada is solid with returning QB T. STEWART completing 57% of his passes ly for 2,139 yards /15 TDs. 9 starters return on offense. Have to respect the Pistol offense that is still the left over from C. Ault Era. Cal Poly runs triple option. They return 48 lettermen. QB is coming off a redshirt season, but played in 11 games as a Soph and Junior, rushing for 536 yards, passing for 500 more. Oline and returning RBs are team strength. Cal Poly has had the #1 rushing attack in Big Sky the past 5 seasons.
I see this line has been bet up, so I'll take the value and wouldn't be surprised if Wolfpack are looking ahead to next week match up with Notre Dame.
WIN

What a great game tonight.... Game went to OT, which means I got my money's worth.... And, oh yeah, cashed that ticket.

For Today: 9-3

1. Michigan - 39 over Bows.(3 units) .... Not a lot to say about this one. This is a very bad spot for Hawaii. These kids have traveled all over half the world in the past 2 weeks. Harbaugh won't hesitate to run the score up, and Hawaii will be lucky to put up 7. Hate laying this much chalk, but Hawaii goes home beaten and blue!
WINNER

2. Clemson /Auburn Under 63' (4 units).... My number is 52.... Too many points. WINNER

3. Oklahoma - 12 over Houston (3 units)... A lot of people on Houston, however, this Stoops team is loaded. Perhaps best backfield in the nation. Has everyone forgot that QB Mayfield was a Heisman finalist finishing in 4th place? Perine and Mixon will share duties running the ball. Perine is a beast and has drawn comparisons to Earl Campbell. The kid benches 450 and squats 600. Oklahoma defense will cause problems for Cougs. I think Sooners roll. LOSER..... Sooners get rolled!
