6-4 Y-T-D

The computer I'm on in my nephew's and it is dial-up so this is taking some patience. Went to Reno last week and had a great NFL opener. I always play the 1st half unders on opening day.....went 11-1 on Sunday, and missed a 10 team parlay by the hook on New England....bastids!

Well here we go, no time for write-ups as I will be lucky this loads without losing a connection anyway:

USC/Nebraska OVER 50' (10 units)(Winna)....yah, I like it

B.C./Georgia Tech Under 48 (7 units)(Winna).

Mizzou -20' (5 units)(Winna)

Cal -33' (4 units)(Loss)

Wash/Ohio St. Over 41' (4 units)(WINNA)

Notre Dame/Mich Under 44 (3 units).(Winna)..

Wake Forest -19 (3 units))LOSS)

Good Luck Boys.........See you Sat.

Re-Cap: Today 5-3

Y-T-D: 11-7 (+28.4 Units)

Decent Day and I certainly got lucky with that late OSU TD against Huskies. Notre Dame is going to have a very long year! I can't believe some of these top blue chip recruits heading to Miami.....folks from there should be glad that kids still want to play at the U......a couple more years, and I think they will be back with the elite. This year I'm seeing alot of tier teams, and not so much parity. Some good middleweights, but definate advantages to the bigger schools. Could be 4-5 quality team vying for the National Championship.....but from what I have seen thus far.........FLORIDA should be Number 1 in the polls........USC, then LSU. for now. Gotta love the talent on some of these midmajors this year. We should have some very exciting football down the road. Congrats to Michigan to get the monkey off there back.........now watch them run through the Big 10. Could happen, as Big 10 appears to be down this year. Woulda loved to have seen Ole Bucky bite it at Camp Randall! Kids from Citadel have a very good ballclub and will do well in their division play-offs. Saban at Alabama has a new look team! Very impressive to see that great D have some help with the offense.

More props to Brooks at Kentucky for beating their rival and props to Wildcat Defense that put a hell of a lot of pressure on Brohm. It appears the talent levels have caught up with each other. Watch out for them Wildcats!!

Lastly, My game of the week.......Duke upends Northwestern. Hmmmmmm Duke breaks the streak. perhaps Northwestern would like to try a new one?? May be a good team to fade, especially against teams that run the spread.

Have a good week......see you tom in the Pro Forum!!
