They didn't get that crushed.....I show favorites going 6-5 ATS overall including NIT games. Zaga/BYU opened up a "pick", so not counting that game. NIT dogs went 4-0 so far with SF pending....
all joking aside.. i would venture to say that about 10x as much $$ is bet on ncaa, rather cbi/cit/nit.
And i just talked to one who says he lost every game but Pitt.

I know we got killed today. Some of the people we deal with got killed too. It was one of the worst days that I can remember. It seemed like everybody had their biggest plays on UConn, SDSU, and Florida. Hopefully this shit ends soo.
Yeah.....I was nervous when my numbers showed Richmond and SDST as plays. Two total public plays today.
Let's see a show of hands for all those in tears over Vegas having a "losing day"... :violin:

:shrug: I know I don't feel badly.... think people are winning big at slots and blackjack??
I'll try not to overthink it and just be happy today I was on alot of the right sides.
Ucla shoulda covered... Temple shoulda covered... Cinn coulda covered very easily... but they didn't :shrug:
I lost big on ucla and cinn, less on temple..
when ya got 19 yr olds w/our wins and losses resting on their freethrow makes or misses.. whatcha gonna do?
I had some faves, had some dogs, hit some totals, lost some totals..
and I lost on the 3 biggies u mentioned.. Conn, Fla, and Sd St.
and still came out ahead for the day by a very nice margin... a good feeling

it was good but im being greedy.. i too had UCLA and Cincy. I just call alot of action in to a book, and the guys that call me had every favorite. that cuts into my percentages
The other side of the equation are the totals. Every game except Richmond was over at the half and five game totals went over albeit taking SDSt two overtimes to get there.
Today also had five games with lines of 4.5 or less...tomorrow only Washington is in that situation...more room for the fav to win but, not cover.
I've been in Vegas this week and alot of money was won since 3/4 top seeds covered in the first round. Most of the bettors seem "happy" but, between the tournament, spring break and St Patricks Day, no one is sober.
