WHITE SOX
Chicago - The same can be said from Tuesday night with this team - the White Sox have no choice but to treat this game like a sense of urgency - plain and simple. Only now it is this philosophy for the entire series. Now a game back of the Indians, the South Siders need nothing less than a sweep in this four-game series to restore hope in the Windy City. Southpaw Josh Stewart makes his second start of the season for the Sox and the good news for him is that the Indians haven't scored more than five runs in any of their previous 10 games, going 1-9 in that span. Chad Durbin has been shaky, and lost his only start against Chicago this season, bringing his record to 1-5. Look for him to get rocked tonight, led by Carlos Lee, who extended his hitting streak to 11 games in Wednesday's loss to the Tigers. During that streak, he is batting .409 (18-for-44).

PITTSBURGH Easy winner ...
500* WINNER
PITTSBURGH
Steelers - Talk about a mismatch tonight, Pittsburgh should manhandle a decimated Eagles team that is completely banged up, and because of that, has coach Andy Reid throwing up the stop sign on the sidelines for many of his skill position stars for tonight.
Nine players will miss the Pittsburgh contest, including four defensive starters, safety Brian Dawkins, linebacker Dhani Jones, defensive end N.D. Kalu, and defensive tackle Cory Simon. The Eagles will be weak at defensive line and at linebacker as they'll also be without backup DT Sam Rayburn and backup LB's Ike Reese and Jeremiah Trotter.
And with Correll Buckhalter lost for the season with a preseason injury, Reid dropped a broad hint yesterday that Brian Westbrook may watch the game along with Dorsey Levens, who joined the team Monday, and will dress but not play tonight.
That banged up defensive front can only mean one thing for Pittsburgh: a full dose of Duce to ignite that Philadelphia feeling!!! Former Eagle Duce Staley returns to Linc, only now in a Steelers uniform.
The Steelers are coming off an impressive win over Tennessee, and will carry that momentum over from last week, as their defense should have no problem forcing Donovon McNabb into firing mistakes, while keeping an eye on Terrell Owens. Because without any real running threats to worry about, the passing game will be easier to defend.
Guys, state pride is at stake, and no matter what time of year it is, Pitt coach Bill Cowher is too competitive to let this one slip by.
Roll with the Steelers tonight.
