Spring is here and my thoughts drift to being on the Canadian waters in another 100 days in pursuit of the wiley walleyes. (curse you cabin fever) So it is only fair that I compare tonight's games with that of a hungry school of marble eyes in search of their next tasty meal. A juicy crawler dangling in front of a hungry mama will entice even those with a belly full of minnows. And this is what Vegas does to ME on this first day of spring. Everyone knows that a successful gambler bets on the favs in the NIT. This year so far the favorites, who have the home court advantage, are 18-5 while covering 13 of those spreads. Tonight, even with the knowledge of going with the favs....and.....the underdogs being an overwhelming public favorite.....I'm going against all logic and siding with the doggies :scared I'm sure my fate is sealed just like those golden fillets will be in three months :yup
ND +3 The Irish just play too many close games. And I have about as much confidence in the coaching ability of Tommy as his dearly departed clone leaving Indiana. The Wolverines have screwed me enough times this year. Suppose they have one more in 'em :mj07:
