Am going with the Over in this game. I am looking at disciplined batting from the Anaheim batters. After reviewing game 1 they will see that they had plenty of chances to score a run from third but did not.
Schmidt has been pitching well and yesterday did the same. Got out of jams with his fast ball while strikin out god knows how many.
Appier has not been impressive in the post season so far and I look for SF to score at least 3-4 runs. If Anaheim wanna win they have to get to Ortiz fast. Ortiz if memory serves me right did get rocked by the Braves in the earlier series in his first game.
Ortiz in post season has 3.71 ERA
Appier has 4.11 ERA
The Angels MAY have been rusty after the long wait. I am sure they wanna win and if they wanna win the best way would be to bat like they did before.
I am also buying the .5 run and taking 8 runs instead of the 8.5
Am playing for same amount that I would have placed even if i had taken the 8.5
Anaheim may walk bonds. Hopefully this will lead to more runs being batted in.
I see a total of around 11 runs being scored.
