My guy from last year got out of the biz. I'm not doing online this year for personal reasons. So a co-worker has this guy he uses. Apparently, he counts any final as a completed game.

It worked in my favor for the Michigan game, but I had more money on the WVa-Marshall game. So that hurt.

I'm up, so I'm not too steamed about this Utah game, but it just goes to show you something seems crooked.

FWIW, i checked with a friend who officiates. he confirmed that since the penalty was on the bench, it is considered a dead ball foul and the td should count. the new rule this year - an unsportsmanlike penalty during the play can negate a td - only applies if the penalty is called on the 11 players on the field.

i parlayed utah and the under, so that really hurt. it's hard enough to hit parlays as it is, without taking a ridiculous loss like that.

had to even out some time - i won that pitt/jacksonville game many, many years ago when the same thing happened.

You are correct. The deadball would have been tacked on the kickoff and since no time was left the game is over and the TD counts.

I have been reading the rules all morning as well.

That is one flucked up way to win and lose a bet.

I wouldn't have a problem with this if they would have overturned it when it happened. Once the teams leave the field, it shouldn't have been changed. The Pac12 and USC conferring to change the score just reeks of foul play.
