like smurphy said....its because wins have been few and far between when it comes to duke. besides...kids look for any reason to storm the court nowadays
Sun, get off your high horse...these are college students having a good time in argueably the biggest rivalry in all of sports where their team trailed by 9 with 2 minutes left in the game and came back and won in dramatic fashion in the final seconds...what's the big deal?? how is that "shameful"?

I agree with ADOT, Im not even a fan and was excited with the ending of the game. Imagine how the students felt.

add that UNC clinched the ACC reg season title too. these are the same kids that missed the tourney not that long ago. plenty of reason to be excited

After that comeback, they had every reason to rush the court, and it is the biggest rivalry in college basketball.

As someone said, students don't plan to rush the court ahead of time. Had we been up 10 it would not have happened. To go from the lows of certain defeat to pull out the comeback win it's just an extension of the jubilation. I agree storming the court is dumb now everyone does it. But this was the explanation point for this team, for the 3 seniors. To the guys who went 8-20 and got shit on night after night.
