Regardless, Duke/NC basketball is one of the greatest, most heated rivalries in all of sports and for NC to win in the way that they did, with both teams ranked in the top 10, I mean..come on, how can anyone be cynical about the fans and teams emotion after that kind of game and comeback.

Hoops - As for hating everything everything outside the Big 12 that is a joke. True I hate Duke and dont think much of Roy. I am a fan of Texas because I went there, but I very rarely bet on games in which Texas plays. I focus on the Big 12 mostly because I watch it and I know it - not because I am a fan trumpeting the greatness of the conference. I hardly come on here saying the conference is great - I got plenty of grief last year for questioning the worth of Okie State and I doubt I have ever praised Kansas, much to the chagrin of many. Nor do I root for any of the other 11 teams, although I like Bobby Knight and like to see Tech hoops do well. I dont think there is any doubt the ACC is the best hoops conference this year and in most years.
As for everyone else slamming me for having an opinion so be it. For something so unimportant quite a few of you felt the need to discuss it. I posted the same thing on Texas website last year when they stormed the court after beating lower seeded underdog Wake. Those folks were sensitive too - funny there is a thread on there today ragging on UNC.
As a general rule this is a gambling site. As a general rule if you bet my plays you win. If that doesnt trump everything else than I am not the only one that needs to focus on the important things.
i did apolagize to you.i know you didnt get me the banned,i deserved it.i had a bad day that day and bashed you when you had a cold stretch in your big 12 plays.i have no prob with you man.just saying lighten up.but i know it is hard to judge a persons personality on a comp screen.sometimes it just seems that you are talking down to people imo.could be wrong though who knows.anyway i know you know what your doing with your plays,and do respect you for that.keep up the good work
my opinion is act like you have been there before, sorry. i love watching this NC team play because they are so athletic, and i think May could be the most complete big man in the country. emotional game - yes. and maybe it did warrant storming the court, but i thought it was a bit much. i personally would never want to give my arch rival the satisfaction that beating them meant so much. carolina should beat duke by double digits - they are certainly more talented. yet they follow great stretches of bball with inconsistent play. i don't hate nc- i really can't stand duke. however, to beat duke at home by 2 is a poor performance from the heels. i don't want to hear about mccants because his launching brick after brick in the 1st meeting cost NC the game. duke is a team of guards with one true big man. randolph is a stiff at best. if the heels would run their offense through May the entire game they might win by 15. let the bashing continue....jmo
unc played a much weaker acc schedule playing wake only once. if anyone will check the stats you will see they shot alot more free throws than opponents all year. versus duke there were a few questionable calls at the end which went their way and just like versus michigan with webber's timeout and georgetown with brown's pass to worthy they get lucky and a missed free throw bounces out to marvin williams. they may have the most talent of any team but they may play an ok state ,uconn or ky team that has more heart and unc will probably choke somewhere between now and the finals. i am hoping ga tech has a chance to play them this week in tourney and plays their best game of the year.
well duke gets questionable calls every game at home so stop whining. maybe coach k can drop the f bomb 50 times next game and get every call like usual. duke will be lucky to win 2 games in the tourney.
