Yep....the shark in that video is a ragged tooth shark and fatdaddycool was correct, the shark was pregnant.



The diver was trying to move the shark into isolated tank (give birth) but ummmmm I guess the shark didn't want to leave her friends and said "fuck this shit, I am staying in this tank!"


This happened in Durban, South Africa in 2012. The diver is ok now, but he did have a series of operations and I am sure was in a ton of pain for quite some time. He is back diving with sharks and yes he still dives in that exact same aquarium.

I think the diver was trying to flip her and put her in to tonic immobility and push her into the other tank but she wasn't having it. That was a big frigging shark.
