Just bought this TV at SAMS club today, and will be set up and delivered next Tuesday. If you own one of these , is there anything you can pass on to help me as I am not real tech savvy. Mostly bought it for the wife and 12 year old to watch netflicks and others that it offers while I am on the road with work. Retails for 6999.00, but I do snow work for the store and the manager sold it to me for 5499.00 so it didn't hurt quite so bad, lol I thank my sports book for the nice present they bought me today! Let me know if there's anything to inform me on!

return it before it even gets delivered.
The viewing angles and picture quality at different angles of the large scale tvs are not good. Unless you are sitting dead center, and at the appropriate distance away.. you're going to be asking yourself why the heck you paid so much for a tv with that mediocre level of resolution and viewing quality.

If size is your goal, spend the money on a high quality projector. Projectors these days can put out just as equal or better quality than a tv of that size.. and the money you save can be used to get a high speed, high quality install and upgrade the surround sound even more.

For an overall significantly better viewing experience.

Unless of course, the intent of your post was to highlight that you scored a 90 inch pane of glass. Then, good job.

Prob correct..My cousins husband about 10 years ago built a massive theater room add on to his house and it had a huge wall for the projector screen........Pretty nice .... if I had the room on the property i wd do the same. But i have 4 70" sharps on a long wall so i can watch 4 sporting events or what ever at the same time .. just like vegas .. suits me fine.

Agree with you on the projector but only if you have a dark room to put it in. If it's in the living room a projector might not be the best option.

Love my projector but you really gotta keep the lights low for best quality.. Now the high end projectors do better in the light. But you would be over what you paid for the flat screen.

My folks for example have a Runco.. Looks dynamite day or night but the projector alone was 11 grand!

So IMO for living room viewing I would keep the flat screen. If you have a media room get a Sony or Epson projector :)
