Not in this lifetime.

If I was one of the Duke kids accused in this incident, I'd use my airtime to ask for a public apology from professional racists Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson.

i can't understand why we keep making these thugs stronger and stronger. Now Protor and Gamble and Staples are pulling their ads from IMUS Show. Let them pull their ads to any radio station that plays songs using the word "ho" in it. Sickening selective outrage. Great post GMR.

Stevie i know your not gonna like this but here goes. Sharpton i have no use for. Time and time again i have seen him make a fool out of himself and how he has a platform to speak is amazing. Now with Jackson yes he has his faults to but he does do some good things that separates him from Sharpton. When Katrina hit and Bush pulled the same shit in Iraq with no bid contracts and then pulled a con job waving the Davis Bacon act so his buddies could even make more money Jackson was the first and only person i saw screaming about this. This was nothing more to profit a select few and once again with this dirtbag president to screw the american worker. But i also think it is time for him to take a backseat because his name is basically worthless now and a lot of it was his fault. When i saw him and Sharpton standing behind the Democrat from Connecticut i knew the democrat was finished in the senate race. (can't remember his name). Is Jackson a pain in the ass sometimes sure but he does do some good once in a while. Sharpton is another case.

jesse jackson thought that he was the 2nd coming of martin luther king...but in actuality he is nothing but a thug....he is a publicity seeker & an inflamer & not a healer like rev. king

here are 2 examples of jackson's "thugery"...& there are many more...

jesse jackson has extorted anheiser busch telling them if his sons does not get a distributorship he will sic the dogs after them.

jesse jackson has extorted nascar telling them if they don't contribute to his rainbow coalition he will sic the dogs after them concering the lack of minority race car drivers.

Al & Jesse are no more black leaders than Hilary and our President are white leaders. The media that is mostly white has propped these guys up. I think that anyone who has a voice in policy, has to be a leader for all America to have a voice that matters. People that segregate leaders by race are living in the past. I like Imus, I also think he showed no understanding of the black community by going on Sharptons show the other day. Who cares what Al thinks ? He does a radio show that doesn't even have paid commercials. Jesse and push had a little demonstration of about 50 people the other day. Most black people that I talk to think these two guys are a joke. Al & Jesse have done for black America what Bush & Clinton have done for white America. NOTHING ! IT'S ALL LIP SERVICE ! I think the media, that is mostly white is propagating a fraud and deceiving the majority of America by propping these to up as leaders. These guys have a fringe following at best. The media that expressed their outrage about Imus , most of them are in bed with him. The way they cover a story is a ****ing joke. How are these Rutgers young ladies so hurt by these words from Imus ? The one thing that I found hard to believe was, one of the Rutgers players said that she was going to be scarred for life by this. I would have asked her why ? If you let some guy on the radio have that kind of effect on you, how far are you going to get with that Rutgers degree ? Life is going to throw many road blocks at these young women from Rutgers and I don't think what Don Imus said will make the top ten list in each of their lives. I think our useless media needs to get a grip. Our free media is a propaganda machine, that is bought and paid for, to sell us the same load of shit, day after day !

One more of many AR...

Operation PUSH, that he's been the head of for an eternity, has already had at least one incident when a very hefty chunk of money went missing from their coffers.

Jackson bragged about spitting in white people's food when he was a waiter. I bet you find that hard to believe. Not the spitting, that he had a real job!

It is honestly sickening me.

I have watched over the last several years out freedoms being stripped away.

This is not exclusive to one party because both are behind these disgraces.

First they use the patriot act to strip civil liberties.

Then they tell us what we can and cannot do with out money after they tax us.

Now they let a fake outrage over a stupid comment snowball into stripping freedom of speech.

MSNBC are cowards. They knew what Imus was about and what was on his show when they brought him on years ago.

They let Sharpton and Jackson, two horrible human beings, dictate to them what should be shown on their air waves.

Why doesnt Sharpton and jackson go after Rush, Savage and every person who has made comments found to be upsetting. Why stop at partial hypocricy.

And the fact that msnbc has turned this into the main story sickens me even more. People like David Gregory and Brian Williams who were frequent guests on the show, just backing the bus over imus is repulsive. And how do they explain having sharpton on non stop when he has yet to apologize for the duke case or the brawley case.

I can't stand fox news, but they would be smart to wait about 4-6 months than offer to simulcast the imus show.

I don't know that MSNBC are cowards, at least from the very little I've read about it. If sponsors are pulling out, they're the ones that are cowards.

a good way to get back at the sponsers, if you
feel that their response is a threat to freedom of expression, or if standards are not applied eveny,
is to boycott their products ( and to send a letter
or EMail to their public affairs department

the only thing they care about is making money

I don't think satellite is going to be the answer. XM & Sirius are going to be going through an important merger and I don't think they want/need the controversy involved.
