I'm going to be shipping a package that weighs about 60lbs. The dimensions are 34x25x17 approximately.

How much should it cost??

Who would you suggest using as the shipper?

Thanks

is it in any way fragile? what zip code do you live in, and what is the shipping zip code? is the recipient able to pick it up, or do you want it delivered?

Shipping it from 46321 to 38104. It's a massage chair.

Checked the usps site and it shot me a price of 57.04 which didn't sound too bad.

I'd like it delivered

ups.com comes up at 31.61 ground (which is 2 day delivery) i guessed a declared value of $300, so that much additional insurance is included.

Also sometimes USPS is cheaper then UPS but if you are sending osmething costly or need tracking... usps tracking and claims process is VERY flakey compared to UPS. I sitll use USPS almost for all shipping stuff... they have a few priority mail standard rate boxes regardless of weight... but again if its expensive i'll get insurance and ship thru UPS.

Don't use USPS for anything of value. The two times I had to file a claim USPS wouldn't process the refund unless I had the box with the shipping label attached and the item in question. Without all three someone is up the creek... Use UPS....

Use Fedex. Ive watched sorts at both UPS and FEDEX, and when things are "movin" during the middle of the sort, your boxes at UPS are thrown/tossed/stepped on/disregarded alot more than at Fedex.

fedex and ups both suck ass... no real perfect solution... :) gotta love how my UPS packages can make it all over the damn place... go from KY to TX re reout to CO to NJ... then go back to CA... Sad part is this actually did happen to me... end result is... u have to remember who does the sorting and lifting at ehse places....

yea but it is part of BP at fedex regarding package condition and safety. If it gets damaged, it hits the location it came out of/hub/station/ramp/etc....
