Here is another stat which doesn't look as grim. This was lifted from an ESPN story.

"According to Baseball Reference, pitchers working on three days' rest in the postseason have a collective 4.14 ERA, as opposed to a 3.64 ERA working on the traditional four days' rest."

He made his first career start on three days' rest against the Atlanta Braves in Game 4 of last year's NLDS, and he allowed only three hits and no earned runs in six innings to pace the Dodgers to what was eventually a series-clinching victory.
