Even though it will make the ACC stronger (which every SEC fan does not look forward to), I think if a conference and schools can make their organization better they should be allowed to. The big losers in the deal will be those teams remaining in the weakened conference as well as the BCS bowl system. I feel that it is survival of the fittest and if what remains of the Big East can not attract new talent, then they should be phased out of the major bowl alliance. This will require a complete restructuring of the BCS. Most people will think this is a very positive move since most do not like the current BCS structure. Will this speed up the process of getting a bracket tournament in college football? I doubt it, but I like anything that is going to make it more likely.
