So Cal
Maybe I don't get the jist of this thread as I have just glanced at it. But if books are holding on some of these games that are so one-sided, wouldn't they make significant line changes in an effort to balance? I was under the impression that books generally don't like to pick a side; they want money equally split so they can collect the vig and not gamble on the game. That's why the line moves - at least the locals I have dealt with work that way. That's why locals are fun to have because they can have skewed lines at times. Forgive me if I misread the intentions of the thread. I know that if I had almost 6k on one side as opposed to $11 on another, that line would move up real fast. I understand that you don't want to set up a situation where you can be middled, but hard to imagine such one-sided action unless the lines are completely haywire.
