"metro"area this past week,in teachers rooms,at work,at Deli's, on TV and newspapers,etc,etc.....
Everyone talking BS including myself.I hate the Jets and my best friend hates the Giants.We live next door to each other.All we do is "diss" the hell out of each other.Of course with the Giants losing the way they do he has the better of me regardless of the Jet record.But today I get some revenge....
Giants -2.5 over the Jets
Both teams are desperate.Jets season will be over for sure and Jints can climb back and be .500 at the midway pt.
Giants are coming off a nice win at Minny.I had my ass handed to me on that game.Minny defense was so soft and Jints defense stopped Culpepper and co.
Jets are 2-6 with Chad coming back today.he looked rusty in last weeks game vs Philly but should be sharp today.
Jets defense is ranked last in AFC in rushing defense.They lead the NFL in sacks but everyone runs right past them when they miss the sack.Abraham there most solid DL is out today.Jets LB's are slow and a rookie is starting who will have to match up with Shockey when there not in a zone.
Jets DB's are in a makeshift system.Kinda like the Jints OL "musical chairs".
Jints offense should be able to move the ball.Tiki is the kind of back that will give the Jets defense problems with all his cut back moves.Levins will also see action today.Shockey matchup will be tough for gang green.They have to play zones because of their speed.Toomer and Hilliard will also cause headaches..
Jints offense looked good vs Minny.Collins is still so freak'in inconsistent.he missed 3 TD's vs Minny but had Toomer drop 2 other ones.Collins is No. 1 in the NFL in passing yds with 1,880.But he has 10 ints,has been stripped so many times and is dsylesic reading defenses.
Jets offense gets Chad back which will be a boost.Moss might have a big day in his crossing patterns.But they have no home run hitters.Jints defense the past few games have played better.And they stopped Culpper and Moss.So they should be able to stop the Jet offense.Jet running game is avg.
Strahan woke up last week and won Pl of the week with 2 sacks and 6 takles.Jint defense should control the Jets today.
Jints have lost all 3 home games this yr.They cannot score in the red zone,their special teams have lost 2 games for them,and other teams don't beat them but they beat themselves.
But today they come out smoking.I think they handle the Jets and win this by 10 or more pts.Keep the ball away from Bates and Moss on the punts and kickoffs.
Jints are 9-3 ats vs AFC east teams and the Jets are 1-6 ats at home vs NFC east teams.
Tiki has a big day and Shockey gets in the end zone today.
