Adding this 4 team "insurance parlay" - basically as "insurance" in case today is a continuation of yesterday...

4 team parlay:
Minn +2
SF -1.5
Minn over
SF over

Risking 1 unit to win 11.5 units

So basically if i would go 0-4 today i would still net 2.7 units...if i win all 4 plays i will pick up 7 units...if i win 3 out of 4 i would net 2.8 units - and going 2-2 would be -1.4 units...worse case scenario is going 1-3 and dropping -5.6 units...still i like playing these "insurance parlays" once in a while when i have had a bad day the day before - this way if for some reason if you have a really, really bad for the 2nd day in a row - you can still turn a profit...

GL to all...

Alright - a winning night in CFB = +2.8 units:

Won w/ Michigan, TCU, TCU/SF under - lost w/ Mich under & the 1 unit insurance parlay...still netted +2.8 units - good rebound from last night...still can't believe Michigan came back & won - if you would have asked me what play i felt most comfortable at halftime to win it would have been the Michigan under - little did i know they would put up 59 2nd half points! Hey - i will take the win...TCU game played out as I saw it would...FYI my record is 3-2 for tonight - i consider any play I play to count on my record - for instance i played 2 sides & 2 totals & then a 4-team insurance parlay - i won 3 of them & lost 2 of them...so making some of these parlays kind of brings down my winning percentage - but as i always say - the only numbers that matter to me are my units won! Here are my updated totals:

NFL RECORD: 40W - 35L +13.55 UNITS
CFB YTD RECORD: 25W - 24L +21.95 UNITS
MLB YTD RECORD: 10W - 6L+44.18 UNITS
OVERALL RECORD: 71W - 62L +76.68 UNITS

Back w/ more plays tomorrow!

Go Cubbies!

JEFF - i hope you aren't questioning my record & units won as not being accurate - everyone here knows I post all my plays & always keep it up to date...yes i have hit several 10 units plays...and also some 5 & 6 unit plays - you can go back & track all my MLB playoff picks if you like & calculate the result...my plays have varied between 2 and 10 units...and i include ALL plays in my record - whether i play a 3 team 1 unit parlay or a 10 unit play...

GL to all - let's keep kicking ass in the MLB playoffs - as well as CFB & NFL!!

Not questioning your units at all, I'm sure they are legit. Was just curious how big you were playing those games, by my math it must have been about 15 units apiece. I respect that you keep a solid record of your plays. Good luck this weekend. :)

GL to you too this weekend Jeff!

The big thing w/ my plays is that I do very the units wagered on various games...i know alot of people think that you should just wager the same on each game - or a certain % of bankroll on each play - but i have been using my weighted unit system for over 5 years & have never had a losing season...i do believe that there are times when certain plays warrant more units to be wagered...that is why i always say the only thing that matters to me is units won - not my winning percentage...looking at the history of my plays over the last 5 years - my higher weighted unit plays have been the most successful - while my lower weighted unit plays have been the least successful - which confirms that I am wagering more units on the plays i have capped & viewed as my strongest plays...i am a firm believer that "all plays are not created equal"...

Have a great night!
