if you want people to take you seriously in this forum, you can only take credit for winners and losers that you post prior to gametime. no one is saying you did or did not play the game for the win, but to take credit after the game is over will do nothing but cause this kind of reaction. think about it.

you did the same thing last week after you came back from vegas. your original games you posted here were in the negative, you came back after what sounded like was a great trip and posted the games you played while in vegas AFTER they were over. you posted some winners and losers, but it did add up to more wins and a more positive number for you. i didn't call you on it then, and it looks like no one else did either. maybe i should have just to give you a head's up that it wouldn't fly in here.

what reaction would you have if the shoe were on the other foot?

i played the under last night in the san fran game for 2 units, but i was out, had no access to a computer and didn't post it. i have done this and lost as well. my POSTED RECORD for this weekend was 3-4 (down 2.9 units). yeah i got 2 units back last night, but i can't put that on here, i would lose integrity with this board..understand?

I see what you are saying & from here on out i will not include any game i don't post in my record - didn't think it would be a big deal - the thing is that people should trust each other...

I have no problem updating my post w/ negative units if i lose - it is just easier for me to have a running YTD record - so far I have been able to post my plays 99% of the time...but to satisfy everyone if I don't post a play that I do play - I won't count it in my record - or i guess i will post a "Madjack record" & "true overall record" next to it or something...

In response to your reply - if the shoe was on the other foot i would have no problem w/ someone updating their record if they didn't have a chance to post - because I TRUST people here at Madjacks...there are some great people in here & i believer we are all here for the common good - to help each other & let each other know how we are doing...

I guess the thing that really bothers me is that it seems like people like to attack each other around here...i can post over 150+ games & everyone is all happy when they are winning units playing my plays - but then when 1 litttle thing happens - all of a sudden my honesty & integrity is questioned? I think that is a little harsh...I think I have handled this all the right way - I have agreed to update my record on only posted plays - hope this satisfies everyone...

I really enjoy posting here & reading others posts & think most people enjoy reading my posts & i enjoy helping others - I am a very honest person - and hope that this issue is now settled and we can go on to concentrating on what really matters - capping the games!

I hope nobody on this board has lost faith in me & feels they can't trust me - that was never the intention & I value my integrity around here - i am a good capper & have produced solid results - i just simply updated my record to my TRUE YTD record...

If anyone else has anything to add - please say something - but otherwise can we please move on & concentrate on winning some games?

I apologize, I didn't have the chance to see this post by you or VANBASTEN while I was typing in the other thread. Based on what I just read then, I'm assuming you are going to post your record based on a 0-2 Sunday and -7.3 Units then?? If not, I guess I'm still confused.

Also, you seem to be taking our criticism a bit too personal. You call what you did a "small thing". A 20 UNIT difference is NOT a small thing! Most cappers here have a goal of +20 Units or so for the ENTIRE season, so calling that a small thing is off base in my opinion.

Like VANBSTEN I did see your post after your VEGAS trip and thought not much of it. I didn't realize you updated your record at that point with the plays. Had I known, like Vanbasten, I would have mentioned it then.

BTW... I haven't bashed you. If your feelings are hurt, I'm sorry. TRUST is a must here at MJ's. We operate in a cyber world. To think that someone wouldn't take exception to this "small matter" is being naive. Now you know, so your lack of experience will not be so easily overlooked next time. If you are a good capper and have lots to offer, your stay here will be enjoyable and beneficial to many. I hope this doesn't discourage you, it wasn't intended to do that. Just change the record, mark this up as a good experience and move on. The rest of us will, we always have.

Yesterdays plays 0-2 -7.3 units

NFL RECORD: 40W - 37L +6.25 UNITS
CFB YTD RECORD: 28W - 28L +15.45 UNITS
MLB YTD RECORD: 13W - 6L +53.96 UNITS
OVERALL RECORD: 81W - 71L +75.66 UNITS

The 20 units I picked up on the 49ers game & 49ers 2nd half is NO LONGER IN MY RECORD...by the way after recalculating my total was actually off by 3.02 units less - so everything has now been calculated & is up to date...

Hope everyone is happy now...no hard feelings guys...

Let's continue to make some serious $$$$$$!!

Thanks johnnyonthespot - it is amazing how many people around here will try to bring you down...those are obviously the people that are losing!!! After reading your posts for a lil bit I decided to follow you for the day.
I sit here down about 8 units and you are telling me how much you are up at the end of the day.

Marine - you should never be bitter about losing a play when following someone else - it is your call whether or not to play someones plays - it is not fair to be mad at me for losing a play...I have played plays & lost while following others & during those losses there was no one to be mad at but myself...not fair to blame me...and am I not supposed to be happy about the plays i win? And it is only one day - keep your head up - 2 losses is not the end of the world...anyways I hope you see my point - if you follow someone else tonight & that person's pick loses - you can't be mad at them either...GL to you!

Let me add one last thing - i am very sorry i was unable to post the 49ers game & 49ers 2nd half plays...I wish everyone could have benefited from playing these games - i don't know how much of a difference it would have made as i look at it now - it seems like everyone here was already on Seattle...

Again I hope this little incident can be put behind us & let's move on & win some games - i respect each & every one of you here at MJ's...I just ask for the same in return - we are all on the same page now...and again i didn't mean any harm & if i came accross as bragging about winning 2 plays - that was not the intention...not at all...

Those who know me know what i stand for & that is honesty & integrity & I put 100% into being the best capper i can be - and I take pride in helping others...I am the first to say i will not win every play - and i will not win every day - but over the past 5 years I have not had a losing year & that is credit to my hard work & dedication that i spend while capping the games...and i post for one reason - to share the knowledge I have gained & to help others...but i do post w/ the intention of letting the individual decide if he/she would like to play that game...and I don't expect to be praised if i win & i don't expect to be ridiculed if i lose...

The bottom line is sports betting is about having fun & making a profit - i really enjoy reading everyone's posts here & enjoy the time i spend posting...

Hopefully all is well & we can go on & keep on doing all the hard work we can to spit out some winning plays!

It's not the 8 units or losing the plays that irked me... big deal. It's reading you cluck about turning a 12 unit profit for the day and padding your record for all to see.

Again, marine - sorry and hope there are no hard feelings - i think i have explained myself well & my intentions were not bad - and i never meant to pad my totals - just reporting what they really are...I do get excited when i win - and there is nothing wrong w/ that - i like it when others are excited in their own posts when they win too - all part of having fun w/ sports betting...i never ever intend to come off as bragging or throwing it in anyones face - just like to comment - win or lose - on the plays i made throughout the day...GL to you to marine - the future is bright & we have many more games to win! The key is everybody working together!
