no matter what

no matter what

we will never forget this game

8 straigth clutch FTs by Minny

will friggin Flip post 4 guys outside the arc and give up a layin?

why dont these guys know how to defend the line, college coaches dont either

its remarkable, force them to shoot 4' behind the line with a man inbetween shooter and hoop, if they make that live with it

This game is hands down the worst officiated game in ANY sport that I have witnessed in my 35 years of existence on this planet. Minny should have won this game by 10 a long time ago.

WFANs - Joe Beningo just said with 2.3 seconds left The T'Wolves should win barring a David Stern Don Kingesque ruling intervention !

LOL

T'WOLVES are gonna get Fawked the next game Bigtime by Stern and The Refs.

BEAM ME UP SCOTTY!
Barkley after the game.."That was the worst officiated game I have seen in a long time. At least 10 horrible blatant calls. Would have been a travesty if Minnesota wouldn't have won that game"

Charles said it all!

after 2 definite bad officating games, should be interesting to see the next few games and how they are called

never seen anything like it other than the WWF.....

its like when the ref always looks the other way when the bad guy is cheating. TWolves got the same treatment. Glad to see them win. Woudl like to see them make a run for it.

I started to post this about a week ago. If you know me you know that I believe that all major sports are controled. The way to do it is with the refs and the umps.

In all my years of capping I have never seen it so blatantly obvious as in the NBA this year. Last night was the worst I have ever seen. I believe the plan was for LA to win and cover and when that wasn't happening, to go to ot, foul out Garnett, and the Lakers could cover the spread. When they saw that Minn wasn't going to let that happen they made the call on Shack. Watch you asses on the next game. I don't believe the NBA wants LA to go out in the first round but they are going to get a lot of heat about last night and it will be interesting to see how they handle it.

Oh, and by the way, someone on this forum commented that the lines-makers are that good. Nobody is as good as these guys unless they are getting help. Just my two cents worth.

I admit it is getting obvious, but you know the NBA wants the Lakers to win because they need something to sell this "product"

The refs in the NBA have so much control it amazes me. Last night was a perfect example. The refs gave the Lakers every opportunity to win this game and it ended up in OT. In OT the ref with 1 second on the shot clock gave Gary Trent two free throws and on the other end in my opinion when Kobe was actually fouled they decided to swallow their whistles. If your going to fix a game in the end at least finish what you started. Hell I had to sit through OT to see the T-Wolves win when the refs took it away from them during regulation. It's not like I'm on the East Coast watching this game at 3 in the morning ... wait I was ... truly ridiculous these refs are a bunch of clowns.

The better team last night won and rightfully so. In the end I believe the Lakers will take this series, but last night's game was truly an embarrassment to the credibility of the NBA's officiating and the true motives of this league ... money, money, money $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

Like The Chicago Bulls--- The instant The Bulls lost a game in a series The other team was dead in the water. David Sterns is a friggin lyer if he tells you that games aren't steered.

The Knicks and other teams used to get mauled by The Bulls and nary a foul was to be called.

I dont want to label why or what happened or by whom (ala Oliver Stone and Oswald/Ruby exchaging fraternity handshakes at Ruby's topless bar two weeks b4 JFK was assassinated) but the ONLY call LA didnt get that was iffy was Kobe's take to hoop late in OT ... but even the refs cant give "every" single call, then it would be a sham and impossible to downplay, shrug off, or not lose 100% integrity (but i think many of us lost 99% last nite) ... getting 85% of the calls was bad enough and thats about what is was in final 10 minutes of that game ...
