Siena -11.5 over Marist
Watched last Sundays 81-68 Saints win at marist on TV again last nite.
Marist has now lost 6 of last 8 games.They are a half game out of 7th place with St peters.No inside players.Magarity is shuffling his lineup again.But Eppehimer,Handy and Young are all out of position.No inside scoring or post defense.
In the Rider game the other nite Marist opened the game scoring 5 pts in the 1st 15 minuts.And Riders defense is terrible.
Last Sunday Siena came down to Poughkeepsie and just manhandled the Foxes.Saints scored 36 pts to Foxes 6 in the paint.
Karawanga missed a triple double by 2 bds.I could go on about the frontline,etc.You have the worst rebounding team in the MAAC going against the best rebounding team.Haddix,Miller,Austin,Sniezk.Siena is playing at home.
No way they have a let down after big win at fairfield.They are coming out smoking.They can catch Manhattan and know it.
Strong play on Siena.Win this by 15-20 pts.Marist has to play zone.siena can shoot and penetrate.

New mex St -6.5 over North Texas
North Texas has been beaten by weaker teams at home like Ark St,Ark-Little rock,Denver,etc.LaLaf is better then those guys and just blew NT away.
New Mex St is loaded.Moore is avg 18 pts a game with 30 blocked shots.Mason,Fontenet,Jackson and Haynes can score.They are quicker and more athletic.NT has Davis.No pt gd and are dead last in the Sun Conf in turnovers with 349.Aggies on the road have beaten Denver by 3,So bama 14,and lost to Texas Tech by 1.
New Mex St in 1973-74 came into denton with Tree Rollins? and a Williamson with henson as the coach.A NT kid by the name of randy Felhaber hit a jumper at the buzzer to win the game.It was televised in the southwest on CBS.NT fans swarmed out on the court.Randy was picked up and carried off waving his finger "we're No 1".Only problem was we were 3-15 at the time.I was good friends with Randy.To this day we don't let him forget that.I wonder if Lou Henson will remember that game today

siena hc lanier's intensity will be transmitted effectively to all the players, no way he'll allow a letdown, agree w/ you completely, siena @ home, should be an easy cover...also on c mich, rhody, g tech...gl, caper

Brown -9 over Columbia
Columbia is one of the worst teams in the country.They avg on offense 48 pts a game.Their top scorer is Mccottry and he avg 9 pts a game.Then its Boswell and Hill coming in at 7 and 6 pts.They are last in the IVY in scoring,assits,FG%,etc.In FG% they are 35% making 261-of 735.In FT shooting there top 2 scorers shoot 54 and 66 %.
There is one catogory that the Lions are 2nd in and thats blocked shots.Wiedemann the 6'10 kids leads the IVY in that.But Brown ranks 1st in BS.
Brown has the No.1,10,15,28 and 30 top scorers in the conf.Hunt is there stud with a 19 pt avg.Nuu..tia the 6'7 kid avg 12,and Forte is solid at gd avg 11 pts.Brown is No 1 in scoring offense but its defense is pretty bad.
Brown has to much overall speed and a star in Hunt.Lions do have the 6'10 kid in the middle but he cannot score.Transition game will give the Lions trouble today.
Columbia has already lost to Stoney brook,Sacred Heart,Boston U,Lehigh,Lafayette,Binghamton,Bucknell,etc.They did beat my boys Army.
Brown is so much better that if they come with there B or C game and Columbia comes with there A game Brown wins by 12.If Brown comes in and plays its D game I'm in trouble.
But one thing about the Lions.Anybody that follows the Ivy knows its a crazy conf.Columbia in the past at home has been a decent ats team.But they have no offense and are playing one of the best off. teams in the conf.
Strong,strong play for Brown.
Will take Yale -6 over Cornell
Also Rider-7 over St Pete-Rider really looked good the other nite vs marist.Problem is "was Marist that bad making them look good".
