My son just showed me a Baseball he picked up at a yard sale last fall. I remember him buying it but really didn't pay much attention to the names on it at the time....The ball is signed by a bunch of former Red Sox Players, balls in good shape & signatures for the most part are in ledgible names include:

Jim Rice
Fred Lynn
Jerry Remy
Bob Stanley
Dwight Evans
Bob Bailey
Butch Hobson
Bill Lee
Frank Duffy
Carlton Fisk
Mike Torrez
Jim Wright
Dennis Eckersley
Rick Burleson

Any thoughs on potential value

I see 3 HOFers on there, I'd don't know the amount but a good amount especially to a Red Sox fan.

Dwight Evans should be in HOF, fuk Pete Rose!

I really enjoyed a few of those players growing up, Lynn, the Spaceman, Remy and Fisk!

Hold on to it, JMO :0074
I gave my son a baseball signed by Al Kaline over 30 years ago and his (ex) girlfriend took it and sold it

worth more to him to pass on to his future family than the amount he would get from a BoSox collector.

put it in a clear ballholder if it isn't already..
and back on his night-stand.

I would estimate that it's worth $300 ish.

I have a baseball signed by the 1939 Detroit Tigers team and that sucker is only worth around $600.

Condition means everything, plus years ago teams put out team balls with facsimile autographs. I think it was before this particular ball, but maybe not. Maybe Boston did it in mid 70's.
Value isn't going to change much in future years and apparently is no sentimental value to your kid. Two sure things about autographs: They are worth the most right after someone dies, and don't know why  , but single autographs of HOF ers are worth more than group ones. :0008

probably minimal value, maybe a couple bucks to a specific collector, but without some kind of authenticity, i'd guess the max you get out of it is about 100

This

You need to have the ball sent in to be authenticated. This will bring max value but the cost will eat into your profits.

fisk and rice are obviously the notables there...took rice 15 or so cracks to get into the hof, so not really a hof-er to me, but his plaque is in cooperstown, not my opinion...

yaz is certainly the one that stands out for the most value...

bill lee might bring the value down, and there might be more money in cocaine residue on the ball from butch hobson handling it

I'd say 300,

Obviously worth more to a private collector in the Boston area
