Im not talking about anyone in here but these over the top religious fanatics need to take their ball and go home for awhile. When i heard Obama say this in his address i was wondering if he was gonna get scolded for it and sure enuf the bible bumpers are not to happy. Here was the statement: Props to him to even go there.

But between those two statements, the new president got specific: "We are a nation of Christians and Muslims, Jews and Hindus, and nonbelievers

he even discussed his "muslim roots"(which,along with his middle name were off limits during his election campaign).....

I think there are a lot more people than most assume that just don't give a shit about religion. Even the people who classify themselves as Christian are often only so in name. I think non-believers and/or agnostics are the silent majority.
