JULY 10--Susan Smith, the South Carolina woman who killed her two boys by driving her auto into a lake while the children slept in their car seats, has placed an online personal ad seeking pen pals who are "not judgmental" and want to write to a convicted murderer who considers herself "sensitive, caring, and kind-hearted." The 31-year-old inmate placed the ad, which you'll find below, last month and included a picture showing her dressed in a standard-issue South Carolina Department of Corrections prison uniform. Smith, serving a life sentence for the October 1994 murder of sons Michael, 3, and Alex, 14 months, notes in the ad that she loves "rainbows, Mickey Mouse, the beach, the mountains, and waterfalls." She adds, "I have grown and matured alot since my incarceration, but I will always hurt for the pain I've caused so many, especially my children."

I would like to just fcuk that woman up. I mean honestly does she have any pride? How can people even want to talk to her? I bet you she gets mail too. What a disgrace? Dirtball

That "class picture" of her knelt on a knee is wigging me out. She seems happy and well groomed while her kids are in caskets.

I waiver on the death pentalty but when a mother drives drowns her own kids it makes me want to pull the switch myself.

you know, i actually felt a small amount of compassion for the woman down in texas that drowned her chidren in the bathtub, as she was obviously deeply mentally ill. but this bitch killed her kids because she was pissed at her husband, and then made up a fictitious suspect to blame for the police, going on national tv with impassioned pleas for help in finding her kids. fu*k her.

Well, I have no compassion for anyone who hurts a child theirs or someone else's. I just can't understand how you could hurt something so tiny and innocent. It enrageous (sp) me like nothing else. Any harm done to a child should be death to the person who is doing the harm. I know I am a single Mother and when my kid wouldn't stop crying I am telling you what I use to want to pull my hair out. I would never hurt him no matter how much he cried. I know it is easy for me to say that with so much family support but seriously I couldn't even imagine hurting his feelings just alone inflicting bodily harm on him.

I just think it is a sad world if kids aren't protected. If you can't trust your mother who the hell can you trust. That bitch deserves for me to fcuk her up. Seriously. Just thinking about it drives me nuts.

There was a woman here in Philadelphia who threw her infant son off of a bridge, or maybe it was her two kids she threw off, I can't remember the details, and then she jumped in, she says, to save them. You shouldn't of threw them in you idiot.

God I can stand that. Nothing gets my temper rolling more then someone hurting kids.

Sorry to go on and on like that. Now I am sweating.

I don't understand it at all. There are thousands of people in the world that can not conceive a child. If you can not handle your own then give them up for adoption, run away and leave them with their father, kill YOURSELF! There is no reason to hurt God's innocent little ones. It sickens me. I can not even watch stories like this on the news.

I am one of those lucky parents. My little ones are complete angels. So, I definitely don't know how any person could hurt their kids or even want to hurt them.

My opinion is that they shouldn't have any friends, any mail, no television, and definitley no contact with computers! Nothing, they should have nothing. I'm not even sure if they should get the death penalty. They should have to spend the rest of their lives remembering the pain they caused those little babies.

Would not doubt for a second she will get men who will write her. I mean you have seriously mentally defected women who write and more to killers like the f*cking Nightstalker (Richard Ramirez). Very strange folks out there. Of course she might just be the one for a beloved member we all know and love...
