every time I tell a Redskin fan it will get better..

It gets worse...

Once a proud franchise..

Now just the butt end of bad jokes..

S. CAL.
As a life long Cowboy fan it's tough to see this. You want to see your rivals suck, but the victories are so much sweeter when they are strong.
Somehow, I see Grossman having career games against the Cowboys. lol
I'm not sure what free agent out there was better, but it seem's a marginal qb is worth way too much

So Cal
:mj07: Grossmen will not start. IMO He's only there because he was along side K.Shannahan on the sidelines last year. He knows the Offense so he can teach a little something to the QB we draft in the later rounds....Lefavour , Pike ,Kafka will find out i guess....IMO Campbell is gone after this season....The Organization has been rather mean to him....Trade rumors , Blame game ,ETC...

I would be pissed of the Skins go QB (Bradford or Clausen) with the 4th pick...We need OL help right now...QB can wait....IMO both S.B and J.C are not franchise QB's anyway...Okung , Davis , or trade down. USC LT Brown should be around in the 2nd rd 37th pick. IMO he'll be a solid starter for many yrs...By trading down to get multiple picks in the
2nd rd , the Skins can address some more needs like OL, LB (if the 3-4 talk is true) CB, RB, SS... Skins can certainly use help right away..If trading downs means 2 solid starters on the roster ,I'd be happy with that...

Skins taking Claussen #4 overall.

if detroit doesn't take the left tackle from ok st, okung at #2, then i think wash.takes him at #4....if detroit does take okung, then i think wash. takes the offensive tackle from okla., trent williams.

i think claussen would have gone to seattle at #6. but now i don't think they take him since they traded for whitehurst. i think there is a good chance for claussen going to the bills at #8....

Detroit is not taking Okung.

Saying this because they are the only team I follow daily in the offseason.

That being said, I was stunned with the Pettigrew pick last year, so take it for what its worth.

Yes, they sorely need to address the piss poor O line but theyre just playing coy with the whole DT thing to see if folks wanna trade up a few spots.

Is Brennan still around? I know he was hurt last year. I don't see any QB worth taking this year. Better to build up the line.

I agree I think Colt should be given a chance because looking at the roster he is the best option. Campbell is mentally beaten and has no talent, Grossman do I even need to type it, and then Brennan. Ok so if they draft a rookie, well he still has the same experience as colt starting in the NFL so it is going to be growing pains.

As a skins fan I think Okung is overrated from a pass happy conference that does not see a ton of NFL talent line up against him week in and out. Looking over this draft you really have less than a handful of sure things. I am sure there are a ton of players that will be special or live up to potential. But that being said unless they trade down I see only one value pick and thats Eric Berry. Very early for a safety in my mind but the guy changes the entire ability of the secondary with his ability to cover. It makes ladry the player he was with Taylor and not the guy of the past two years, who is not worth his jersey. Gives the defense front more time to get to the QB and frees up LBs from have to help in coverage.

One reason why Flacco has done so well is his defense doesn't ask him to score 30 a game, same for Sanchez. Plus if you want some help on the o-line you go after big number 77 from Idaho and you can get him early second.

Why take a chance when you have spots to fill and the selections are far less risky.

Cheers

Yes, we still have Colt and YES he deserves a real chance at the QB job.

he`s looked pretty damned good in preseason(we get all the skins games in baltimore).....

i`d give the guy a full shot before spending 1st round choices on longshots like clausen...you can almost assuredly get a proven starter/potential star at #4...i

Actually, Brennan looked good only in his first preseason. He looked terrible and looked like he might have even regressed this past preseason. Chase Daniel clearly outplayed him but he still ended up getting cut. Bottom line is Brennan was expected to beat out Collins for the #2 spot but barely hung on to his #3 spot. No disrespect, Redskins fans, but if you guys have that much hopes on Brennan than your franchise is in trouble....

the history is pretty bad for qbs who played in spread offenses in college succeeding in the nfl & brennan & daniel are 2 of the latest....it will be interesting to see how kolb will do for the eagles if mcnabb is traded....

he had an excellent 2008 pre-season and was dogged with hip/hamstring issues in the 2008 offseason and 2009 preseason...matter of fact i believe he ended up having surgery and put on i.r.....

""Brennan aggravated a nagging hamstring problem in Thursday night's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, and an MRI revealed a partially torn hamstring along with a torn labrum in his hip. Brennan missed much of the offseason work in 2008 after surgery on his other hip.""'

the skins decided to keep brennan(even though he was unavaiable) and let daniel go...they went with 2 qb`s rather than keep daniel around...

Colt is a good young QB.

I hope we give him a chance to show himself
.:wall:

Why is he a good young Qb ?....because of what he shows in the preseason ? There are many QBs who have showed decently in the preseaon, but wound up to be nothing more than journey men Qbs....& imo Brennan is one of them also.....
