Exactly. Easily the best point made by either during the whole conversation was Bayless on the tour operator prohibiting Cowboy apparel. The Mike Dweebhead dude wouldn't hesitate to make up facts at his convenience, like his statements about about being a journalist/newspaper guy for as long as Bayless.

Insiders pointed to a fight with a producer during a broadcast last Friday which the Daily News reports included physical contact. All of this followed Missanelli's on-air confrontation with Eagles kicker David Akers last fall and a subsequent altercation with WIP Morning Show host Angelo Cataldi.

I too am tired of all the Philly haters. Like some sub set of every fan base doesn't have mean spirited folks. Shit, my boss and I almost didn't make it out of the cardinals stadium alive last year after the NFC Championship game. And the people in San Fran weren't exactly friendly either when one girl wished "we get in a car accident and died on the way home". I'm not an instigator at all either. Just your run of the mil fan. It's true the Vet wasn't the most friendly place, but it's getting real old the way these idiots in the media act as though Philly is the only place in the world that gets rowdy. Everything bayless is referring to is over 10 years ago!!!!! 10 freaking years.....let it go already...

I really have no idea what Philly fans are like. I've never even been to Philadelphia. With that said, does it really matter what stadium people are talking about? Are they not the same fans at both stadiums?

Good point......but the difference is huge. Maybe it was due to the higher pricing of seats at the new stadium. maybe it was due to the fact that the franchise had new ownership that brought respect and got the team heading in the right direction and cleaned up the entire operation. maybe they added a TON of security.
For proof, just look at the fact that the Vet had a court house and a jail in it and the Linc shut it down after a season or 2 because there wasn't a need anymore. the stadium in general, became more "main stream" and family friendly.
The same can be said at Phillies games as well.
Check out game five of the NLCS last season in LA......I happened to be here, although I wasn't in those cheap ass bleacher seats. Thank god...oh and they have stopped selling beer out there now.

I know Bayless is lame. I now know Mizz (whoever that is) is too.
