Okay...been awhile since i had time to spout off about the world of bases and why tonight can get you some coin......
so i will break it into a couple of categories;
I don't have the heart or bankroll to back these boys:
How many times you take attractive puppy money just to get trounced and down about 6 runs by the third and you just shake your head and say I knew it? too many times if your me....nothing's worse than turning a game because your team cashed it in and they suck so bad you know comebacks are out of the question...then you spend the rest of the night surfing for entertainment and get stuck with some dumb-ass reality show...shheeessh...okay back to reality...here these boys are:
Tigers They have to win sometime right? and why not @ home? They do have an alright pitching staff and a couple key hits they could really pull this off...NO, don't think so, not going to happen...last time meche fired against this club he threw some BB's but the M's ended up losing, not this time..TheM's have won 12 of 16 meetings and the Tigers are just plain stinky at 0-10 after a loss in game one of a series.....NEXT
Brewers If you happened to catch this team in extra innings yesterday it was plain painfull, the couple of bright spots they have on offense in Sexons and Jenkins looked like garbage...I think Sexson was 0-6 w/4 K's...I don't like Dumpster even though he is 3-0 against the Brews, but would rather spend my change on Milwaukee's best than the Milwaukee brewers...

Chalk tastes Good
I hate to take chalk but as my bud says "they are favorites for a reason they should win' and to a point he is right...I mean baseball is a game where on any given day a crap team can win ..... but not today
Houston -105 I am checking out milk cartons looking for the Padilla that pitched last year for the phils. This guy is a wreck and anyone dropping cash his way I would like to know why..The phils have lost his last three straight he has an ERA of 10.13 and has walked as many hitters as he has struckout.....berkman 4/5 Biggio 5/7 .....Phillies have trouble with southpaws....NEXT
Everyone likes them
cardinals The place is full of redbird backers and I can't say i blame them, but the cubbies are getting some hitting from the bottom of the order which could be dangerous...okay I am not taking the cubbies either but I sure as hell am not taking St. Louis....last time i checked when the Titanic sank it was full so i am passing on this boat, but I give it to the 4th inning when i regret this one...
Giants See Above. mets should make my first category as they suck all over but have a chance to win sometime....okay maybe not....
I think I have the runs
Rangers +1.5 +125
Everyone is talking about how clemens can win 300 @ Fenway, but what if he doesn't win tonight? Looking ahead can get you and the Rangers have the potential to get some chunk of runs with just one swing...A-Rod and Raffy both hitting over .300 against the Rocket and Juan Gone has 5 dingers lifetime too...
that Dog will hunt
Angels +124
There will be bombs bursting in Beantown tonight as both these pitchers are meat lately and lifetime against each other...Spiezio has reached base in 9 straight appearences and will be the difference maker tonight...
Totally Dude
OVER 8 TB/Bal---
Over has rolled in 3 straight for the D-rays and in the series has popped up 4 out of the last seven games, the pen for the D-rays pitched well last game but tired arms will prevail
that should do it...if that's not enough already...
