Well some intriguing games today.
Indiana State +17: This is a very interesting game as it is one of the oldest rivalries in the US. BSU coming off Iowa loss which was heartbreaking and now have Toledo on deck. In between... little ol' Indiana State. Indiana State is a physical team who can run the ball. They can play defense. I believe that they can be pesky enough and have enough offense to stay in this game. 27-17
SE. Louisiana +5 and +160: The Lions are the #3 FCS ranked team. They have an Oregon transfer as their starting QB and they have many FBS transfers making a difference on this team. Tulane has had the tough loss to Tulsa after being ahead and then beat up by Ga tech. This is going to be a tight game. I am backing the team that has a tradition of winning rather than the team that has had tough times closing out games.
Umass +17- I bet this earlier in the week. This is more a bet against Vandy.
Georgia State +11.5: I know that stopping AF triple option is tough and especially the 1st time you see it. AF off a heartbreaking loss last week and Georgia State energized. Arbuckle is playing decent football and I believe Georgia State can score enough to stay in this game. Air Force should not be favored by DD on the road.
Illinois State +115: Illinois Sate has a great offense. This game with EIU is a big rivalry. EIU is ranked but they should not be. They have not found their legs yet after Garofolo left. the EIU offense will score in this game. Illinois Sate's explosiveness will be on full display. I look for a very high scoring game. If you can find a total play it over anything up to 72. Illinois State at home vs a very weak EIU defense... I think we see a 55-35 type game. I like this one.
Delaware State +20: I do not believe Towson should be road favorites of 20. Small play.
Bryant +11.5: Bryant defense is playing great ball. Maine defense is playing great ball. Both offenses are pedestrian. Give me the home dog with a good defense. If you find a total play it under 42. I see Bryant in this all the way. 19 to 14
UCONN Team Total Under 17: Going to be raining in Storrs today. QB Cochrane retired due to concussions. I think UCONN still looking for their direction. Not sure Boise is the team you want to play when you are looking for a direction.
Wake Forrest +14 and under 43.5: Small plays.. hunches.
