Smart Bettors Play Teasers

OK OK...the title is a bit of a tease.

There is a reason that sharp books like Pinnacle are charging a premium for playing teasers these days, and are even moving lines to gain an edge on teasers.

For example, a lot of "straight" books will have the Broncos at -7. Pinnacle puts them at -7? with + money in order to make you do a teaser at -7 instead of -6? if you want them at basically a pickem. Or to take less than a Field Goal if you do a 10 pt tease.

There are 2 teasers that I am looking at this weekend.

Which of these 2 Teasers look most likely? Thanks for any reasoning!


St. Louis Rams -4.5 vs Jacksonville
Denver Broncos -0.5 vs Dallas

OR

St. Louis Rams -1.5 vs Jacksonville
Denver Broncos +2.5 vs Dallas
Atlanta Falcons -0.5 vs J-E-T-S

And YES, I know that Mr Scrapman thinks the Peytons will likely lose in Dallas. :kiss:

I do pretty well with teasers.

I think this one is the best tease for the week and I already played it for 5 units:

GB -1/2
Car + 4 1/2

As for Jax-Stl, these are 2 bad teams. I never play bad teams in a teaser. Bad teams tend to have unexpectedly bad games when you expect them to do well.

Den-Dal, I don't like that 80% of bets are on Den. Not touching that one. I do like Atl, but would play them in a 6 or 7 point teaser at -2 1/2 with another team and not a 3 team 10 point teaser.

6 point teaser at -110.

I feel pretty good about it. Wish I could have put more on it...but it's too late now as the Falcons line has moved up to -9.5. I hate doing 7 point teasers, fuk paying -130.

For what it's worth, Cowherd picked this game as his "Eliminator Game of the Week", meaning the game where one team is most certain to win. And it ain't the Jags. :shrug:

here is my Teaser 4 teams 13 points.... you can call me chicken or loser, but most of my tickets are teaser and parlay 4,5... and I do made $$$$ in last few week.....

I haven't pick NFL teaser yet for this week.... only had N.O -` with 3 others NCAA still pending...

if I select NFL teams for teaser this Sunday then this ticket look good for me..

ok i learned long ago about teasers 1 simple rule Tease the winning team ! Or the team you figure to win the game. I'll Take Cowboys + 14 at home vs a very suspect #30 ranked pass defense in Broncos.

Packers yes they win over Lions they always Beat Lions s/u in Green bay one place Lions cannot win is up in Green bay even when packers went bench one year week 17 lions went in favored and Matt Flynn laid a smack down on kittens

65-17-2 overall, and 35-6-1 at home

some similarities: solid quarterbacks, good coaches that aren't conservative (they will run up scores), play hard the whole game and don't give up, pretty consistent in personnel, all good teams

Not saying Lions win in G.B. Just want to point out
that Lions had lost 16 straight in Wash. and went in
and beat them this year.
