First let me say that I never expected/understood why he would come to UGA from a professional future stand point, but a couple of things stink with this one. First he was obviously contacted by some of his many friends still at Ga.(particularly bobo the OC) and let them know he was interested following the championship game. Now after the game he shoots them down and says he is happy where he is at. While I have no problem with the him saying no, if he knew it now then he knew it when they began contacting him behind the scenes. The only logical explination is that he did all this for the money:shrug: Secondly he couldnt even announce he was staying, but rather saban during a press conference that had nothing to do with the situation spilled the beans. When Smart finally made an anouncement it was a released written statement
More power to him and I get the choice, but given the way it went down I dont believe he needs to head back to athens for a reunion anytime soon.
