april fools!! sorry, i crack myself up.
i was treading water the first 2 weeks. starting to slip below the surface. :sadwave:
tulsa (+5.5) 2 units. purely a gut feeling on this one.
ohio state (-17) 2 units. sad to say, but i think the buckeyes of SOCC (southern ohio community college) will extract revenge for last year's game. psu's game at ND 2 weeks ago showed that these nittany lions are not ready to go on the road to face a quality team. never thought i'd be saying this, but troy smith has really impressed me this year. he's looked very sharp throwing the ball. and that will be the key today, as penn state will stuff the run.
cal (-8) 2 units. another pure gut play.
wyoming (-1) 2 units. wyoming has covered 5 straight against the flyboys.
notre dame (-3) 3 units. this may be the only time i'll play on nd all year. this series has been dominated by the road team, with at least 4 straight covers. there is some overreaction to last week factored into this line. anybody who knows football knew nd was overrated, and they were completely exposed last week. michigan state won at pitt going away. that game may be the only time all year that michigan state is the better coached team. obviously a huge disparity on the sidelines this game, plus the revenge factor for last year. nd will bounce back fine, winning comfortably in a shootout. and then we'll have to hear about how great they are again.
nd/msu over (59) 2 units. neither team defends the pass well. both teams pass the ball well.
arizona (+22) 2 units. the wildcats somehow only trailed by 7 going into the 4th quarter last year at usc, before giving up 2 td's to lose by 21. i hope they have a better showing today than they did at lsu a couple weeks ago.
