i missed a big day yesterday by a half point in the butler game. :cursin: oh well, that would have been a bonus win... laying 12.5 and i think their biggest lead was 14. still managed to eek out a 1-unit profit. happy days are here again.
3 small plays today...
ohio state (-4) 2 units. michigan state has been less than impressive on the road in the big 10 (big 11?) so far this year. maybe today will be the day they turn the tide, but i'll go against 'em until they do. i think ohio state will be out to prove their record is no fluke. they'll take care of business today. their top 7 guys in minutes played combine to shoot 75% from the FT line, so they should hit 'em down the stretch when the spartans are fouling to get back into the game.
pitt (+3.5) 2 units. pitt's record may be a fluke. their only road "test" of the season was at south carolina. still, this louisville team is not as good as they've been the last couple years. they have already lost a conference home game but, with pitt's physical nature, this may be the cards' real introduction to big east basketball. also, just on principle, i have to take a team that is 13-0 and getting a few points.
bowling green (+3.5) 2 units. bg is improving. they have covered 4 of their last 5. they have beat toledo on this court in close games 2 years in a row. toledo has lost both of their conference road games this season. in fact, their only road win came at smu in november. the falcons will win another close one today.
