I agree smokers should pay more as should fat people but, Nuts...your comment is exactly why the government should not dictate to insurance companies who they have to cover, at what age, for how long, etc.

That added risk (that they must cover) is unfairly spread among everyone which is why you see employer plans being altered to include higher premiums, bigger deductibles and, in some cases, loss of coverage at all.

Genetics does have something to do with it no doubt but most use genetics as an excuse to hide from exercise. Anyone who can exercise and make the right choices can lose weight,.

I find it some what odd that you are more sympathetic to what smokers and overweight people have to pay compared to someone who has a seizure disorder obtaining government assistance

Do not know eating and exercise patterns?

My brother in law has an identical twin. Brother law works on the road, has bad eating habits and does not exercise, he is 300lbs

Twin brother eats much healthier and goes to the gym weighs 185 lbs.

Brother in law is being scolded by MD, high blood pressure and borderline Diabetes, twin brother full health. My sister is pushing him to exercise but he refuses. She will be a widow soon.

Yeah I am na?ve to many things growing up in the rural mid west near Canada but man he's amazing.

A really good friend of mine married an Eastern Texan, they met in Oregon, she moved back to his home town and they were divorced shortly their after. Won't go into detail but there are a lot of similarities according to her. Maybe that is the way Eastern Texaners are raised? IDK

My uncle has never exercised and is 140 lbs, my dad walks 3 miles 5 days a week the last 25 years, 270-280 lbs :shrug: It's all genetics
