Smoo -5 over North Texas ****
Both defensive units have whiplash after there 56-7 and 35-3 defeats from Texas and Texas Tech.Both offense's scored 3 and 7 pts..But think tomr that will change..
We mean green are very jealous of Smoo.They are the private school 30 miles down the road.Refused to play us for many years,bad mouthed us,kept us out of ConF USA,and many more..Denton crowd could be 35,000 biggest ever.
But all that animosity really means nothing on the field of play.
NT has no Qb.if you saw the Texas game you know what I'm talking about.Phillips is going to start.He had 22 total yds vs Texas.Wilson who came off the bench and scored vs UT looked better...but they cannot throw the ball.Quinn there top reciever had a few catches but his wrist cast was the biggest "claw" I've ever seen. They say he has a smaller one this week.Jamario Thomas is there only threat. two yrs ago led the nation in rushing..he had 34 yds vs UT.All you have to do to stop NT is put 8 guys up on the line and stop Jo-mo.Smoo will do that.Make Nt throw..and they can't.
Smoo's Qb Willis is not bad.Martin there RB is solid and had 177 yds vs Rice lyr.Lets forget last weeks T-Tech game.Smoo won there last 3 games lyr beating Rice,Houston away and UTEP 27-7,29-24 and 40-27.And lets not forget the only team to beat TCU last yr. Smoo also lost close games to Marshall and Baylor and beat UAB by 1.Smoo returns 8 starters on off. and I think they can score vs NT's defense.
NT's has no offense.in fact NT hasn't scored a 1st qrt pt since Nov of 2004..Thats 13 games.and they cannot play catchup because they run the ball.It's called dickeyball. Run,run..3rd and 7 and incomplete pass.. punt.Smoo's defense will shut down anemic NT off.Smoo should win this away game by 10-14 pts.It's only a 40 minut drive up I-35 to Denton.

Just got the surprise of my life.My daughter in Austin surprised my wife and I and just walked in the front door for the weekend.took a Jet Blue from austin to JFK..train to grand central..grand central to beacon..beacon to my house.Everyone was involved in this except my wife and I. Nice gift...
