I have to disagree, taking the extra point would have been meaningless, going up 12.
Getting two makes it 13 pt lead where they have to get two td's and make both PAT's to beat you. College pat's are no where near automatic, i know i've lost on them many times.

Triple deuce and zzz, are you guys serious? Had temple missed the two point conversion it would have allowed SMU to tie with a FG/TD and 2 point conversion VS two TDs. Was a boneheaded move by a bonehead amped up coach! No common core math can make that a good decision. I had 13.5 so wouldn't have mattered but not the brightest decision.
