The former chairman of the Clark County Republican Party pleaded guilty today to criminal deviate conduct as part of an agreement that could result in two years behind bars.

Glenn Murphy Jr. was arrested after authorities said he performed oral sex on a sleeping man following a July 28 party at a home in Jeffersonville. The plea agreement calls for a six-year sentence, with four years suspended.:mj07:

Murphy is free on a $25,000 bond pending his June 30 sentencing.

Murphy, who was also chairman of the Young Republican National Federation, resigned from both posts when the allegations were made public in August.

It's difficult to keep the cartoon characters straight in this forum. Maybe papa smurff could coexist in a swamp with Spongebob. While you are at it, Frankly, see if you can get this fag a gig with one of the democrat high priests like Barney.

the difference is that Barney Franks admits he is gay and doesn't openly vote against gay rights.
The other party gay bashes and votes against gay rights and then you find out the same guy voting against gay rights is toe tapping in mens bathroomS(CraIG) or doing sermons every Monday morning in the Whitehouse(hAGGART) or pushing the Adam Walsh bill when he is playing with little pages on the side.(Foley) Hypocrites to the tenth degree

I'm kinda stoked with my Santa Barbara residence this spring. It seems the variety of local birds has doubled over last year. Lots of colorful plumage and melodic songs brightening my work days. And amazingly, they are barely crapping on my car. Now THAT is coexisting, my very dear friend:)

ALEXANDRIA, Va. ? The trial of a Louisiana congressman accused of taking hundreds of thousands of dollars in bribes will not take place until after the November elections.

Democrat William J. Jefferson is accused of soliciting bribes in exchange for exerting his influence to broker business deals in Africa.

At a pretrial hearing Friday in U.S. District Court in Alexandria, Judge T.S. Ellis III set a December trial date, though it's likely the trial will begin in 2009. The trial is on hold while a federal appeals court considers Jefferson's claim of legislative privilege.

Jefferson won re-election in 2006 even though the investigation had become public. He has not announced whether he will seek re-election this year.
