This type of thing means nothing to our future. Just more of the same noise. Why does everything to do with a politician have to be politicized? They are people too, and are as imperfect as the rest of us. Thanks for wasting our time and cluttering the board with non-issues.

The last name is a bit disturbing tho.

The former chairman of the Clark County Republican Party pleaded guilty today to criminal deviate conduct as part of an agreement that could result in two years behind bars.

Glenn Murphy Jr. was arrested after authorities said he performed oral sex on a sleeping man following a July 28 party at a home in Jeffersonville. The plea agreement calls for a six-year sentence, with four years suspended.:mj07:

Murphy is free on a $25,000 bond pending his June 30 sentencing.

Murphy, who was also chairman of the Young Republican National Federation, resigned from both posts when the allegations were made public in August.

Sorry if you don't feel this is an issue but i do. There is a party that runs around claiming they are the moral party. People need to wise up to this so called moral party because they are being lied to. This can be buried or it can be brought out. On a side note 1 always bring these out as a joke so Smurph can see them. The name Murphy made it even funnier. All you have to do is skip the thread.

You could NEVER be more wrong. I agree with your politics mostly, but in this case your baseless presumption is WAY off.

I agree he won't be re-elected--but was referring to his chances of winning if he could run again--I see same situation and demographics as--

Marion Shepilov Barry, Jr. (born March 6, 1936) is an American politician who served as the second elected mayor of the District of Columbia from 1979 to 1991, and again as the fourth mayor from 1995 to 1999. He was the target of a high-profile 1990 arrest on drug charges, which precluded him from seeking reelection that year. After he was convicted of the charges, Barry served 6 months in prison, but was elected to the D.C. council in 1992 and ultimately to the mayoralty in 1994, serving a second term from 1995 to 1999. Today, Barry serves on the Council of the District of Columbia, representing Ward Eight, which comprises Anacostia, Congress Heights, Washington Highlands and other neighborhoods.
