VEGAS JUST GOT IT ALL BACK FROM THEIR INDY, NE, and N.O. disasters today.... I think those %s were THE HIGHEST all day on any game... And to win Not ONE, but TWO 80%+ bets in one game!!!

yeah, I got killed in the earlier games betting against the public.
But, I ended up playing a little reverse on Zona and the under to come out on top. :00hour
I even played another one for the 2h! Its about time I won one of those damn things... Although I do feel bad, one of my buddies had the Giants in a 7 team parlay, I told him to hedge it but he didn't listen! :violin:
Betting against the public is overrated sometimes.... I guess I need to think about the longhaul though, I've only been doing it solid for last couple of weeks.
I usually only take them when one side is overloaded 75% or higher... and I increase my bet if its 85% or over.
Whats everybody's feeling on this approach?

It seems like when the perponderance of people on these sites is backing a dog i.e Miami and Minny today the opposite way is the winner. Not as much when on a favorite. Just an observation from hanging here for a while
Well, in years past I used to always play the top consensus on MJ's, or if someone has/had a well written write-up about why they took the play they did. and I did well.
I guess I need to start back following the usuals... I have no time to do research and sometimes I can win with my gut, but most of the time I do mediocre.
my plan is to keep playing against the public... I should start a thread keeping up with this to see how it fares over the longhaul
also, I use vegas insider to find the consensus. However, I think this only takes the %'s from sportsbook.com.
I would like a site that has 2 or 3 big books for a consensus, since sportsbook.com might be skewed to one side or the other...

Earlier, I had 82% on the Giants... After reviewing the betting trends, a lot of late money went on Arizona. In an hour (right before kickoff) it fell 10%
