Played Trilogy Golf Club in Corona yesterday.

Wow!

For those interested, I have never played a course like this. You begin playing your way up the mountain on the 1st hole, although much of the elevation change takes place between holes, and it is more up and down. But beginning on #10, you play right up the mountain, until the 18th, which is the highest tee box in Southern California! 20 stories high! I took a few pics with my cell phone (moron cam), and they came out ok. I bombed my drive, and it has to be the longest hangtime one of my tee shots has ever achieved. At least 10 seconds or more. My tee shot ended up just over the bunker on the left, (even with the edge of the lake), leaving me about 50 yards.

If anyone cares, I shot 76. It was my first round in 2.5 months, and I had 4- 3 putts. Greens were very rough. But considering it is 0 degrees and 7 inches of snow in Indiana, I was extremely happy to be golfing in February! Birdied the 1st hole, snagged a Bloody Mary and enjoyed the day.

Yep, that pic is from the 18th tee... looking toward the green. It's a hell of a feeling to "catch" one there and watch it hang. Actually, the landing area is pretty wide, so you can really let it go without too much fear of hitting it OB.

Overall the course is not too difficult, but kinda fun to play and certainly some interesting shots.

Welcome to So. Cal, Agent....year round golf. You actually caught us in a bit of a cold spell. Nothing like back East, but cold for us....sweater weather..:mj07:

Now I'm really glad we didn't end up playing in Vegas.....you would have destroyed me and my wallet.

That course looks cool as hell. Northern Michigan has some courses like that, so I know how wild it can be. Did they have any elevated tee boxes into par 3's?

I had no idea you were coming to So.Cal. after Vegas. Yeah, we could have played a couple of nice places depending on your schedule.

I know i missed a great time in Vegas, especially after seeing the pics. I was in Vegas the whole week PRIOR to Super Bowl and couldn't stay another week...:142crying :142crying

Greens were terrible at Trilogy. Weeds, (yes weeds) galore. So bad they had some guy stationed at the 18th green apologizing to everyone with a prepared speech.
