Played Trilogy Golf Club in Corona yesterday.
Wow!
For those interested, I have never played a course like this. You begin playing your way up the mountain on the 1st hole, although much of the elevation change takes place between holes, and it is more up and down. But beginning on #10, you play right up the mountain, until the 18th, which is the highest tee box in Southern California! 20 stories high! I took a few pics with my cell phone (moron cam), and they came out ok. I bombed my drive, and it has to be the longest hangtime one of my tee shots has ever achieved. At least 10 seconds or more. My tee shot ended up just over the bunker on the left, (even with the edge of the lake), leaving me about 50 yards.
If anyone cares, I shot 76. It was my first round in 2.5 months, and I had 4- 3 putts. Greens were very rough. But considering it is 0 degrees and 7 inches of snow in Indiana, I was extremely happy to be golfing in February! Birdied the 1st hole, snagged a Bloody Mary and enjoyed the day.
