It's funny (and sad) how short our attention span has become. We are so used to having everything in a New York second. No one is reading anymore because it doesn't supply instant gratification. Even 9-11 has become something that happened long ago. It's weird how much information overload our brains can take and then huge, 24-7 news one day gets put on the back burner.
Frankly, I think turning the television off and slowing ourselves down may be helpful.
