The Canadiens have lost five straight on the road. They've lost seven of their last nine overall. The Calgary Flames are riding a four-game losing streak.

So it's a battle of the Hab-nots against the flickering Flames tonight at the Pengrowth Saddledome.
Jaroslav Halak will start in goal tomorrow night when the Canadiens open a six-game road trip in Calgary. He was supposed to play against Toronto last nightbut was ill.

The skinny: Carey Price is broken. I'm not talking about the ankle that had him on the sidleines earlier this year, I'm talking about that most fragile of all goaltender commodities, confidence. After Saturday's loss to Toronto, a shaken Price mumbled his way through a media scrum that had Hockey Night in Canada's Kelly Hrudey wanting to give the p oor guy a hug. Price has lost six of eight, has seen his goals against average balloon, and has had to do the skate of shame to the bench after getting the hook in two of his last three starts. Jaroslav Halak will get the nod tonight, but if you're Guy Carbonneau, is this the guy you want to ride to a playoff run?

The edge: Neither team has been setting the league on fire of late. But listening to the respective post-game comments of the two teams, you get the sense that Montreal is starting to get desparate while the Flames are just mildly annoyed with themselves. Advantage visitors.
