how much money does steve spurrier have on iowa? here's a guy who is notorious for yanking a qb after ONE mistake. garcia turns the ball over on their first 3 possessions, and one more time for good measurement. and yet spurrier keeps him in the game. i know smelley kinda stinks (like i could resist that), but he has been decent at times. he couldn't possibly be any worse than garcia.

Yes, this a painful game to watch. Thank God two other games are starting now.

GO LIONS!

IMO, Smelley is worse than Garcia. I watched the last game of SC's season, and Smelley threw 5 picks in that game. And yet for some reason, Spurrier never yanked him. Or if he did, it was right at the end. Not sure what he's thinking half the time.

What happenned in this game?

I saw SC kick a FG, making it 24-3... . I switched channels, and now I come back and it is 31-0??

I know SC is really bad, but how do they run a play to lose 3 points?? :mj07:

mags, that was the 'we finally realize spurrier isn't a genius' penalty. -3 points and loss of down. :)

actually, sc didn't have enough men on the line of scrimmage (tough to do on a field goal), so the waived off the fg. he tried again from 5 yards further back, but it was nowhere close.
