BREAKING: Speaker Johnson is FURIOUS after learning that Schumer plans to keep the government closed until AFTER an Antifa-involved "No Kings" rally in DC on Oct. 18

"It's being told to us they can't reopen the government until after that rally, because they can't face their rabid base!"

"They have a Hate America rally scheduled for Oct. 18 on the National Mall. Pro-Hamas, Antifa people, they're all coming out. House Democrats selling T-shirts for the event."

"I have HAD it with these people. They're playing games with real people's lives."

Apparently, you two fart knockers don't understand that Johnson can open the government at any time.

Yea if the Dems vote for the CR it can open. But Schumer’s feelings are hurt and he took his ball and went home. Kind of like you when you left the golf outing.

The DEMS aren't in charge, you asshole!

You know exactly as much about government as you do that "golf outing."

Not a fucking thing.

Why would they give in to stupid requests by the liberal leftist looney tunes? It’s only hurting the Dems. Did they forget that mid terms are right around the corner? Dems aren’t too smart .
Why would democrats give in to stupid requests by the radical right-wing looney toons? It's only hurting republicans. Did they forget that midterms are right around the corner? You aren't too smart.

Keeping health care premiums low is stupid?

Pass the CR like you have done the last 13 times Democrats. Just pass it it’s not that hard. But y’all disagree with Trump on everything even when Trump is right. Just pass it. Republicans are licking there chops because they going to use this against the Dems come mid terms. Republicans won’t even have to campaign and will still win.

Keeping premiums low for who? Being in insurance field for 30 + years--- I can tell you...premiums for working class has sky rocketed.
However has been great for the low/no income "da base" who pay nothing .

My opinion: go back to regular ins without all the free be's that escalated free servives at a price.
In the days: Insurance was simple You had defined risks...You had $500 deductible and 20% coinsurace of next $5,000 and 100% after.
With decuctible you didn't go unless necessary...you had stop loss regardless of costs on 20% ($1,000) than covered 100 %
Simple solution to adverse risk. Was actual perfect plan at defined premium for finite risks. Put everyone in same class which was great except for the Da base/constinuaces..wanting to redistribute the wealth/get votes.

Show me who you walk with and I'll tell you are

The subsidies are tied to the people using the ACA. There’s also an ask to restore Medicaid before the cuts go into effect.
