Mr Hockey

I disagree on LSU & USC not being able to give Oklahoma a game. They both would provide a good matchup & even with Oklahoma being undefeated, their schedule isn't that impressive to me either considering the Big 12 as a whole.
We finally agree on something :toast:

I already know my Trojans will be playing for it all next year! ;)

Pete Carroll and Zook are battling it out on couple recruits this year. The biggest one is KEITH RIVERS the Linebacker out of FL. I hear he is total stud and secretly verballed to USC. But Zook is trying hard to get him to stay. FL got LEAK and USC got Booty. I don't think either would trade QB's although Booty was rated the #1 QB in nation last year and he was only a junior ;).

If I was Keith I'd go to USC with that fool Zook running the team. I won't get off his back until he proves his worth especially at the art of managing a game!

as i have said usc is a poor mans texas alot of talent but cant get it done when it counts (getting flat out dominated by cal giving up almost did i say 500 yards greaaaaaat defense) dont think too many people across the country are worried about some weak ass pac 10 team that hasnt won a title in 2 decades or is that 3 decades; what a joke; usc can talk about all the talent they get; does it make a difference; carroll is definitely a top 20 college coach i guess thats why he couldnt hack it in the pros and went to the college ranks

Who cares?

Who cares?

Lets not waste are time on these petty little things and just concentrate on handicapping. To me this is a wasted thread as you are not going to change the minds of anyone. You can only play the teams that you have on your schedule. Its hard to judge USC this year because the Pac Ten is down this year. I should not have even bothered opening this thread. Their are a lot of great handicappers here and I value their opinions and information. I always appreciate any input they give me. Personally I try to stay away from threads that start with we, us,and our because they are not objective. Good Luck on everyone's plays this weekend. By the way OKlahoma could lose to either USC or LSU.

Agreed greed !

Agreed greed !

Oklahoma will be favored by about 7 over LSU. And about 6 or 7 over USC. I think greed is right, both LSU and USC can give Oklahoma a game. Even Michigan would be interesting against Oklahoma.

Anyway it seems that LSU needs to somehow play Tennessee for the SEC Championship... They would lose out points somehow if they play Georgia again and here's a twist, if they blow out Georgia it's worse for LSU because that would drop Georgia in the rankings and then the first game over Georgia would then become a non-quality win. LOL

The BCS is a Matrix of contradictions. it's a lose-lose deal for LSU.

It's got to go..The BCS has entangled itself in it's own spiderweb of ratings which is sprouting anomalies such as LSU being in a lose -lose situation if they play Georgia again .

:thefinger BCS :thefinger

Hey Dormboy(scott)

Next time you might want to wait until the end of the game before you start a thread dips**t. Oh by the way, this is the same Arkansas team that beat Texas at Texas earlier in the year. Study on dormboy, study on

I really thought USC got screwed by the New York Crimes when it was responsible for Ohio ST getting the 2 spot, but at this point I would love to see you get over yourself and am actually rooting for LSU to jump USC and get the number 2 spot and go to the Sugar Bowl over the Trojans just so we can have the first live web cam of someones head exploding.

Arkansas is not that great of team. Yes they beat Texas but that was when Texas was not playing well. Arkansas has beat a good SEC team all year. Even their own fans are complaining and upset with the results of their team this year. Lastly, the QB for Arkansas is horrible. How Arkansas won 8games with him is beyond me. I do love their running back, cobb I think.

penguinfan :D

No i would not be too upset if USC plays in Rose Bowl. Rose Bowl is the better bowl, and USC vs Michigan would be the best game to watch. Soooo much tradition with the Rose Bowl it will be great. If LSU passes USC its because of the system, but not because they are the 2nd best team in the nation. Nothing you can do about it. Last year USC was best team in the nation but unfortunately lost 2 games and because of the system that eliminates you. If there was playoffs, USC would have won the NC last year, as well as contend this year.
